I'm so excited to tell you that my husband and I went sourcing at goodwill for the very 1st time today. We found a $100 tote bag for $6 & a $1 coffee mug worth $15. That's all we found. Everything I looked at I asked myself "would Danni buy this?" I've learned so much from you and I learn something new everytime I watch one of your videos. Ty for your willingness to teach all of us!

We all change out our personal items in our homes. Its ok to bring in stuff as long as you get rid of the old. My problem is getting rid of things that have memories

In scandinavia we light a candel at the 1 sunday in advent. 2 candels the second sunday, 3 candels the third sunday and 4 candels the fourth sunday.
I have to agree with you regarding resellers and higher prices! Do people not realize prices are up everywhere and in every store? Stop blaming resellers for the higher prices! The blame is inflation! ❤
But the items are all donated so they don’t have to price stuff so high. It seems a little greedy to me🤷🏻♀️

My mom and I came in from California to visit family and we went this store on Wednesday and she bought the pumpkin it is Williams Sonoma 😊

I love your commentary as you shop and learning about the vintage glass items. Great cat mugs! You asked in a prev video if you should include clothes shopping. I say no because other reseller videos do that and I find them boring. Keep your unique style, it's a joy to watch!
On the shelf right in front of you was a Rae Dunn milk bottle and half pint creamer. Some RD still does well but I look up everything to make sure since most is just not worth the trouble.
Racheal can just paint the green portion of those frames for you so they can be matching your house. Saves framing and gives Racheal a cool practical project

Cutting boards can be brought back to life by food grade mineral oil. Don't use cooking oil as it will go rancid. Loved all the cat mugs! 🐈 love your videos Danni! ❤
Or baking sida and lemon juice will clean it up too
The fabric horse is actually a rocking or “hobby” horse, my mom made a several of these to give as gifts one year at Christmas, stuffing them firmly enough to get them to stand on their own was quite a challenge! Another great video, thanks !
NH here: at 20:52 those numbered candles could be used as an Advent Wreath during Christmas..
In Sweden we celebrate Advent very seriously, every sunday we light one of those candels from 1-4 and then christmas has arrived ❤❤

I’m a small reseller but the other resellers pounce on the new carts waiting at the door. They don’t give people a chance.i still find great stuff while they are hovering in a huddle around the new carts

You might ask Rachel if she would like to paint on a cigar box. I have done several and they are really cute....mine are in galleries right now. I just realized that I can't send you a picture of one, but any simple landscape works well.
With the little cabinet that is missing a drawer, it would be nice to move the middle one up to the corner and put a small matching colorful decoration in the slot that is open. That way it can still be used and it would look nice.
Who would not want to decorate with lettuce. 🤣

I love " the sack " purses. Thrift stores here are cgarging 25.00 for that brand. The birds you could ask Rachel to paint the frames on them. Such pretty birds.
Hi Danni-It was good to hear you explain the pricing for Goodwill and other Thrift stores. Goodwill does a lot of very positive things for the communities they serve, both in America and other countries. They have been very helpful to missionaries in providing funding for their projects plus means for transportation for them. Before criticisizing an organization it would be good to research what they do

I can see it’s tough to be diplomatic in response to negative comments and I think you worded it just right about resellers and Goodwill prices. I’m not a reseller and I don’t blame y’all for the high prices. I go to estate sales when they have 75% off or “fill a bag for $5”- that’s how to get good deals
I picked up a scarf that was just hanging on the end of a rail. It was £1.
Was listing it and my other half shouted tea was ready.
So i just put £150 and thought I wil .research it after tea.
Clicked list it .
It sold to someone in the USA before I finished my tea for full asking price!!
Always look for the small writing on scarves , they can be quite a good source .

Danni, the shinnyer, the amethyst stones are rarer it is.
The stuffed rocking horse sent me back 45 odd years. I made and embroidered similar ones with jointed legs to sell when we were on our uppers at that time. Being heavily embroidered meant they were for display rather then play and I wonder if any of them still exist.
I could be wrong but those cutting boards had a finish on them. That is something you don't use a knife on. Decorative serving pieces

Prices are going up everywhere literally everywhere. I just found out today that Stamps will be increasing to $.73 in June. They also let me know shipping prices will once again be going up. I have had to adjust prices to offset the shipping plus all the fees on the different platforms. I source from many different places. I’ve been a seller for almost 30 years. I only source Dollar racks at local consignment stores. I will thrift clothing at Goodwill if it’s the right brand and at the right price. Everyone has to adjust and do what’s best for them to be in this game and make a profit and enjoy it.
Those earrings looked like Parklane costume jewelry. Expensive house party shows.

My grandma had what i think was an older version of what I believe was maybe Louisville?? pottery she really used very similar to that what you thought was Hadley and hers older and heavier and just know whatever they are good and sis got, we were all blessed with something very nice and dining from her....I saw one from here Jim Shore looking angel and then some fatter bottomed (lol) paper mache looking angels I wanted to see more..and not saying any of this is a miss..it is just interesting where eye goes and you really have to know if it is your area or your eclectic type of sales if you run a just everything mixed and not just gift and home decor sales and like that flashlight would have been a yes for me,,,a long later and far cheaper than at store usually for my..swearing swearing swearing crawl space double swear storage...lol..xo..another great one Danni. Much love..wowza on the mugs...and have to pop into my few thrifts here just for little needs now..this helped me be reminded.
The platter was Louisville pottery - I didn't realize how much it looks like Hadley! It;s good and if this hadn't been a platter I would have snagged it!

Resellers spend a lot at thrift stores and help keep them in business. I just spent nearly $400 at a local shop (on 50% off sale day so it was more like $800 priced as marked) and the manager practically hugged me when I shared I am a reseller. I've taught a lot of other customers what to shop for and how to spot quality items, answered their questions and told them how to get the best prices. But I guess some people just need to have something to gripe about...

About your comment that Goodwill prices are going up…
When I hear someone say that, I always remind them that Goodwill is a “for-profit” organization. That is their business plan.
So many folk believe that Goodwill is a non-profit organization. It is NOT! They are there to make money in order to provide a service for the disabled/handicapped.
Resellers have nothing to do with the pricing of items at Goodwill. They are merely customers just like anyone else. It is on a first-come, first-served basis at Goodwill.
I simply wish that all Goodwill would have the same rules, guidelines, and discounts across the country. It is not that way now. 😢
I love going to the ritzy stores and scoping out what they are trying to pendel, then go to the "junk" stores lol and find things that are similar for a fraction of the cost. Sometimes like GW prices on things like jeans you might as well wait for sales. Prices all over are freaking insane. It's quite the haul you got. 👍
They use a small percentage of their profit to help others. One store here in Ontario Canada had many people that worked there that would not get employed anywhere else suddenly it closed. Something about the manager funnelling cash and product to a store in another area that she was going to run. She was never charged !!!!
They absolutely are a Non Profit organization. Being a non profit does not mean they don't make profits - it means their profits are not taxed because they are using them to serve the community in some way, every non profit has a mission they are required to fulfill or they lose their status.
Every region is run independently hence all the differences.
You should be able to put tung oil on cutting boards you liked. I think you want the raw tung oil, which you can get at Lee Valley in Vermont. The raw tung oil is eatable.

My issue with Goodwill is the pricing ie a sugar and creamer 4.99 each, salt and pepper 3.99 each. I get it, prices everywhere are up, but Goodwill is being greedy. More than 90 percent of their stock is donated and they have no cost in, other than pricing and putting it on the shelf.

The live edge cutting board is very salvageable, and higher dollar compared to the rest of the boards.
It looks like somebody varnished it, which it shouldn't be varnished if it was to be used for food prep.
Somebody could sand the varnish off of the board and oil it.
You missed a Rae Dunn Milk before the glass accident.
