- Black Myth Wukong was a highly anticipated action RPG from developer game science that tells the story of Sun Wukong and the Journey to the West. I absolutely loved my time with Wukong but I am a bit surprised at the praise the game is getting purely because I feel the structure of the game is a bit messy. Another review that strengthens my trust in you. Not just jumping on the hype train like everybody else. I follow another guy that I trust (a souls connoisseur), he didn't like the game at all (and nothing to do with the technical issues).

I need stamina meters and cooldown abilities to go away forever in action games, the goddamn enlightened Monkey King doesn't need them, in the novel the game is based on he's supposed to be even more over the top and unhinged than Dante from the Devil May Cry Series

Like another commentor here, the elden ring dlc really burned me out on the genre...as much as i love these games i wonder how much enjoyment id get out of this. I loved lies of p though, i think its better than bloodborne
I’d say get this when u get the itch again and it will provide a new experience. It’s got some flare but it wasn’t as good as Lies of P to me as I said so it can wait if u wanted to
It just felt like yet another souls like for me and post elden ring dlc i think i am finished with the genre. Playing this game up to chapter 2 confirmed that for me. Id say this is an average title.
