I always enjoy when Jamie talks. His eyes always get super shiny and bright when he thinks about doing something fun for him. I’m glad Eric encourages him to nerd out at times and others to stay focused. You guys are a great team. You both have great strengths that work well when getting a job done
I appreciate Johno’s style, no complaining, no jibber-jabber, just good quality work.
I’d never guessed he’s close to 50. 💪
Jano talks. He's not on video.
I'm so grateful you did that little segment about Johno's belt; I have a PBbelt and was having issues with the adjustment of shoulder pad and had sort of resigned myself to it not fitting 100%. After seeing that you actually can adjust that section I immediately went to my tool shed and adjusted mine to perfection. Really an awesome product I liked it even before it fit perfect now I'm sure it'll be a game changer.
Finally a "Let Jamie Talk " video. Oh Eric showed up 😮.
Harsh……🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
I wish they would let Jamie talk more
😂 it’s a good balance.
Yeah, Erik should be called Mr Money Shot...he turns up after the hard work is done!!!
How about just watch the videos. Doesn't matter who freeking talks. There are too many pantiewaste bitchin and wanting this and that on such little things
The fact you guys stop and fix the little things and think it through show you are good builders. It shows your pride and integrity you have for your work.
Please keep showing the process of problem solving! It’s the best part of watching you guys build. That and Jamie’s Ted talks.
Yay for getting the final sheet of sub flooring installed and for including StudPack for the celebration! I appreciate that I got to meet them IRL thanks to y’all via the PBB Million Subscribers party!
Love that you show the good, the bad and the ugly of custom build construction. Your attention to detail is much appreciated by this homeowner. It shines through each and every time I get to show off my home in all its beauty! ❤❤️🔥❤️
Y’all are the best.
Your house did turn out beautiful. Feels like they were on that job just last week.
@bobbyleeper- thanks! I think I also get to take some credit for the choices I made! Been in it 7 months now, grateful for the space. And so thankful the of the eye of storm Helene came directly over this area sparring us the horrible damage can by the areas east of here. Hoping to be able to volunteer for rebuilding efforts by late November once I recover from hip replacement surgery.
Amazing that you keep learning with every build. Why do some viewers think that you know everything just because you've been building for years. Every project is different. I like that #1 you show the problems and solutions, #2 you are humble enough to learn from other tradesmen. Nice journey for us viewers. Many thanks.
Totally awesome including the Stud Pack guys in the finalizing of the flooring, nice touch.
I REALLY enjoy you guys... thank you. Seriously, it crazy how much you guys have helped me... keep up the great TV!
It’s not shocking to see the mess ups and goofs, we are all human. The mind bending part is you own up to them and make it right. This day and age of a lot of crappy new hone construction it proves you are a rare group of builders who have pride to make things as close to perfect as possible.
Keep showing us the real world problems you encounter.... We all know by now that you guys are quality builders but seeing you guys solve problems really helps us appreciate what can arise during a build. Thank you!
Jamie, we appreciate your commentary!
Truly appreciate the problem solving. Everyone runs into them but learning a method to address them is critical. Thanks
Wow, Jason's camera work is amazing!!
You could really tell the difference 😊
I LOVE how you show problems and how to fix them. Real world
🎉There's nothing like 👍🏿 watching expert people do concrete work.
Showing the problems and finding the solutions is a big reason why I watch the channel. Being a pro means acknowledging that there are always problem but the pro's work it out and find the solution. ...if not, anyone could do it ;)
Regarding the non-shrink grout:
Less Viscous Mix:
Grainy and Porous Finish: This is due to the coarser texture of the mix. The water content is lower, leaving more visible aggregates.
Potential for Lower Structural Integrity: While the porous nature can enhance adhesion to some surfaces, it can also lead to weaker joints, especially if the mix dries too quickly.
More Viscous Mix:
Smoother and More Homogeneous Finish: The higher water content allows for better filling of voids and a more refined surface.
Potential for Higher Structural Integrity: A denser, more solid finish can provide better strength and durability, especially in load-bearing applications.
The gasket seal on the base plate is smart. My day sometimes just hoses down the garage floor. Not heavily and he avoids the walls but the floor is wet.
Finding SOLUTIONS is the perkins builder bros SECRET RECIPE TO SUCCESS!!!! Arlo, Jamie, Johno, everyone on the crew had some kind of "knowledge" usefull for many situations!
Been fortunate enough to be at home dad with my baby girl for a whole year. Binge watching all of your videos and followed this new mega house series with eagerness. Love this team of yours, the guys seems to be in a good state of mind all the time! One of the best channels on youtube, easy.
If you ever need a cool intro song I’ll do it for free! ❤️
Best regards from Sweden
I love these videos. I watch before I go to work. I wish there was a new one every day. 🇬🇧👊
The problem solving helps us all be better. I enjoy the ideas and solutions you show us. Thank you.
Love seeing you guys solving problems motivates me to keep doing my job with out the fears of making mistakes
Respect for including the problems! That’s the reality of building and being a GC on any project. Y’all are great and honesty in much appreciated my boys 🙌🏼
Love your channel. Need a holiday in OZ. Queensland.. Free accommodation after you build my dream home. 😅 love your work.
Its interesting to see how the troubleshooting is done and how problems are fixed.
Enjoyed seeing Jason making fun of the monkey style camera carrying.
Nice cameo from Stud Pack folks. Their crossover is what got me watching this channel.
Aww. Sweet ending. Looking forward to the next video and the next collab with Stud Pack.
19:30 Absolutely incredible camera work there guys. Felt like watching the construction vlog version of some Michael Bay Pearl Harbor shots.
19:15 WOW JAMOS HAD THE CAMERA, LOOK AT THAT SHOT DUDE!
Nice to see the StudPack. Bet they loved seeing all that floor sheathing in place. They sure helped speed up the job when they were there helping you guys. Great progress!
Sunday and Thursday are my favorite days!!!🎉
"See you soon" to the Stud Pack? Nice.
Love Jamie's voice, he should talk a lot more to explain every detail you do.
REAL Problems and Solutions are the reasons I watch all your videos AND of course, watch all the guys! Love your Honesty...
Thanks for the Sunday night special. You are appreciated guy's. Take care and be safe. Have a productive week.
The sign of a good carpenter is one that can correct any mistakes that may come up
My late husband Cliff, would have loved working with you guys. Thanks showing the mistakes and fixing them.
Calling Stud Pack was a nice touch! Hope to see you in Texas sometime--there's a real synergy with two of my favorite channels.
I'm glad you show that everything doesn't work out perfectly. I would watch other shows and everything would work perfectly for the TV builders, and then I would try to work on my house, or build something and I would wonder why things didn't ever work out for me and what I was doing wrong. After watching you guys I have more confidence that things just aren't going to be perfect and to bodge it until it works.
It seems like the cold weather suddenly arrives. A short while ago you guys were melting.
Love that you guys show all the fixes for the inevitable hiccups. I'm not trying to sound like a hippy when I say; No problems only solutions. CHEERS!
A lot of people like myself watching like seeing the mistakes so we can learn ways of fixing them ourselves. Thanks for the great content.
So glad they got that concrete poured.
I love early morning starts. Hardly any traffic on the road. nice and quiet before the madness begins when everyone turns up.
It makes me feel so vindicated to see professional builders measure, grab levels to measure again and still have to use shims! I just assumed it happens to my projects because I'm just a DIYer and don't know how to do it correctly. I really appreciate that you guys show the reality of building, the good, the bad, and the not level
Always air seal the walls between a garage and living space. Keeping that water out is good but also any possible garage fumes or car exhaust.
I began watching and as we know Jamie started this episode. I paused it and when I pushed play it was Eric. I had to check that I didn't change episodes 😅😅. Jason and Ray looked like they were doing gorilla impersonations 20:42 😅😅 that Bee was sure getting personal with everyone 😮. Great to see the Stud Pack! Lovely to include them for the final floor board as they were there for the first. Hope you guys get down to help out with the Stud Pack house 🙏. Thanks for another great episode.
Love the random studpack facetime call!
Loved your call to the Stud Pack guys at the end there! Keep up the great work, gentlemen!
In Australia (I’m in Queensland) when they get the roofing up a case of Beer is supplied. Maybe because our Sunshine is excessive most of the time. You guys with your cohesive team would have been GREAT with an old Uncle of mine. My dad always maintained ‘Uncle George’ would do more work in one day than the average builder would do in a week. Love watching you guys work and with the humour - jokes tricks you play on each other. I’ve got togo I’m due in the pool in an hour. No not swimming as such - Physio. I’m 74 but still on the go irrespective of my aches & pains. Keep those hammers/nail guns going ‘Gun-hi!’. God Bless and all my Love Ellen
What a great comment! Thank you for sharing. Its nice to see some personal things about the PBB subscribers. We aren't just numbers!
In addition to the unsurmountable amount of knowledge I gain from watching your videos. I love your team, everyone brings out the best in each other and the team work brings a smile to this old mans face!
You guys keep it real............that's why I watch. Nice job.
🎶 finally we got the concrete, right in front of our face, and we're just so excited 🎶 😂
I like seeing what y'all have to do in order to get things right. Y'all are trying to be perfect with imperfect materials.
Can you guys talk about the Zip sheathing after a foot of rain? You guys have to replace any of it? Still warrantied? Is the delamination cosmetic or are there issues with the wrb or osb?
I will probably order the belt and suspenders soon. I don't think your stock pouches will work well for me though as my tool load out is definitely very different.
I really like y'all including the problems because it shows the solutions to the problems in case I ever encounter them.
Man, good concrete work is nice to watch.. Surprised Brock didn't want a drain in the middle of the garage.. With all this nice weather, you guys will be done in no time...
Agree!!
One of your best episodes ever!
'I ain't gonna fall for no banana in my tailpipe'...nice one Jason 👍
It's Kool you still keep in contact with stud pack guys. I was watching there videos from the main garage build and then your channel popped up on there channel and I just been watching both of your channels. Keep up the good work fellas.
I always have a heathy RESPECT For Conc guys!
Those trusses really weathered quickly out in the elements
"Im not gonna fall for the banana in the tailpipe trick"...only a few of us truly remember that line...
Great Teamwork Again 👍👍🥳🥳
You are building a custom home, not a production home. Yall would super human if you didn't have any issues. please keep showing them and keeping it real
Tool Hoarder!!
That could be a whole new channel for the PBB!!!😆
Not guilty at all 😂😂👍🇨🇦
Fantastic work well done to the team love it
I really like this episode today, I also just realized today is a Jamie episode
🎉
You guys are smart. Schedule everything in sequential order and checklist it. You are so good experiential, you end up with last minute things you’re going through. Wash for me to say, I was in manufacturing where all builds where make, buy, granular to large. For us it was ERP. Do builders have manufacturing software?
I love watching Jordan Eric and Jamie the Risinger Builder Bros
I love seeing the issues you run into. I am a complete amateur so it makes me feel better about my work since I always wonder how I ended up with something wrong.
#letjaimedrone #letjaimefly #letjaimetalk You guys are the best!
Jason and Ray are beast pounding them stakes into loose fill dirt 😂😂😂😂
You need a sealant between the plate and the garage floor to prevent the movement of CO from the garage to the living space 😉
I think you guys should have a telehandler to help move materials, maybe rent one for a test.
I might suggest that the better reason to sill-seal a plate between a garage and the house interior is to prevent gases from entering the living space from the garage. Or am I missing something?
Just wondering why you guys don't wear more PPE, such as hard hats, High Vis, Steel toed shoes?
Stud Pack in the house!
I've worked on multiple excavation projects and trac hoes are just amazing pieces of machinery. Man, you can do some real "damage" in no time with one. 🤪
Good evening from Norfolk UK thank you for all these
Good Show today,work,laughter,FIRE!!
you guys are the best
To answer Jamie's initial question on why always the last minute jobs, it's probably the adhd. A lot of people in the practical construction industry have adhd. It's the perfect job in some aspects.
That makes perfect sense actually.
Yup, novelty is a big help for folks either ADHD. Always having a new project, making tangible things, staying busy. I wish I had started in that industry when I was younger 😂
That's insane you can burn in the mountains like that, even after a rain. Do that around here and you'll be on the news for the next 5 nights. Oh, and thanks for another fantastic video! I love watching the whole crew.
So true! I freaked out because Delaware is in a drought and any fire is not allowed. My husband laughed at me and reassured me they had it under control.
Love your attention to detail.
To help cement products stick to each other, mix up some portland like a thick paint and paint the footing liberally before pouring on top of it.
Stud Pack! 🙌
Someone give these guys a cordless rotaryhammer
I have seen drivers throw the diesel onto windrows a heap of times and it always sends a shiver through me when she goes BOOM. Now would be as good time as any to remind viewers that NEVER THROW PETROL onto a naked flame. The aromatic nature of fuels leave a vapour trail from source to fire which directs the path of the ignition/explosion. Seen a fellow suffer greatly all his shortened life from doing that one mistake.
That was a good thought, to call StudPack team to share the placement of that last piece of flooring. They were there for the first piece just before they had to leave and got to see the last piece goin' downski.
Moving right along! I’m enjoying this series
Slab looks real flat great job!
Maybe slope to the door so rainwater doesn't run into the Lexel under the PT sill?
Another great video. Love your honesty
Jamie = "Overkill Everything" he missed his calling, he would have made a great Marine! Semper Fi bro! 😂
Great video Fellas 😁 , we enjoyed it and see you on the next one, oh !set your clocks back an hour.
Johno is the new Arlo..I can see it in his future.
thanks for the upload great team you got there
Yes sir!
Love watching you guys! Perhaps the short wall was not tall enough, because when you laid out the short studs end to end. You might not have accounted for the saw kerf for each of them.
Why do you not zip tape all edges of the window opening? I see that in Build Show construction. Also are you using a tape seal from the concert base to the zip board?
Jason with safety shoes on! Damn!!!!
