The Striker tank build is great. Boosted myself to Heroic and doing really well with it. I left my chest piece with damage core and still doing fine with survivability. The gloves are being a B to get so I made a minor change and added the Picaros. Thanks
Another super easy damage tank build to put together is 2 pc Bellstone 2 pc Uzina (w/Closer chestpiece) 2 pc Golan All rolled with chc/chd With Kingbreaker and Vigilance 20% Aok 2.5% Armor Regen 550k+ damage per shot Also, on your last build, you could drop a armor core and still maintain a tier 6 shield (although your armor value would drop) because the skill core on Momento counts toward shield tiers as well.

I've been using a version of the Foundry Bulwark... and it works! I have a low watch level and don't like having to get picked up all the time! But I don't want to hide behind people either.
These are tactical Tank SOLO builds so for the ppl who question about group playstyle are out subject. Npcs' hit hard so every build you play, you have to play smart. Not all situations require facetank, once you play free roam anth can get behind you and prerty much you are flanked and done. With the latest update on td2 I love to play Solo free roam with EB (rerolled with dmg out of cover), 4 piece Striker, Ceska vest with Obliterate (buffed and good now) Memento. ChC/CHD dmg oriented with back and forward with The Orbit to obtain the missing chc I need. Can be challenging sometimes but the moment you have all the buffs active and get the first hds kill activating Tenacity you are indestructible. Reviver (cause sometimes you will get burned by Tenacity) and Defender drone. 😊
It’s really all about making sure you’re always facing your enemies. Sometimes you can mess up if a group of NPCs spawns behind you but it’s easy to bounce back and regen 💪🏼
@ColdBwoyy I'm not much for run and gun type of person.. 2 builds, an immortal build or close to one. And an at a distance AR build with drones and turret. Both that hit hard. Sniper and pistol builds don't work for me. Preferably with Saint Elmo and or SMG. Thx!
Funny i was the same with the wave form holster, i. Kept getting the shockerpunch, in the end i gave up, started a different build i had pieces for and what was the 1st exotic i got lol always the way.
Is it possible to get the St Elmos Engine now? If so, where can I find it? If not, what would be a good replacement for that in the Foundry Bulwark build?
I believe you can get the st Elmo’s in countdown if you put your targeted loot to assault rifles. You could use an smg to compensate for the crit loss or maybe go kingbreaker for more damage 👍

Well, the damage from these tank builds takes a hit when you’re in a full group. The NPCs basically have their health pool quadrupled and they deal way more damage. I feel like build diversity is stronger when you play solo.
Yeah, you still need to be smart when you play and tactical, keeping your shield between you and the enemies and taking cover and backing up when you need to.
I love when you start a mission and you matchmake and as your run in alone after a bit someone joins and you suddenly feel the difference in the damage scaling. And it feels like it just jumped a level in difficulty
i love this build, but lot of problem with his regen armor because it doesn't always works !!! improvent talent (the 35% regen in 5 second) don't always activate.... anyone have this problem like me ?

These are definitely solo builds 👍 you lose a lot of damage and survivability as you add more players to the group
That Foundry Bulwark build is absolutely bonkers man you have to really try to go down with that build

I tried it and really didn’t like it. You sacrifice a lot for mediocre survivability. Plus you need a team to make the most out of it.
So far this update has given us mosquito, aegis and vindicator. Not a very promising sign

The heartstopper build is by far my favorite. Tons of bonus armor, indestructible shield and ability to stack 100% 🔥

@@bossquangyou can get it from loot allocation spots that have increased AR drops, that's how i got mine yesterday

I see enough of these builds .. when running with randos.. But they still die when trying to facetank. Not a Guarantee especially in Legendarys.

In terms of how many skill tiers it offers yes. You can stack up to 4
You can't put the laser on the mechanical animal.
