Damo's sista, the profi mushroom hunter in the bavarian jungle 😂, it reminds of my wife scaping to the forest around Munich hunting for mushrooms 😂, sometimes she would come home w baskets full of mushrooms that she emds sharing w our mistrustfull German neighbours neighbours 😂
Damo this video moved me to tears seeing your sister saying goodbye to your dad , it just made me cry . We can see your dad is surrounded by so many people and love just wonderful to see , wishing your dad a speedy recovery. What a wonderful childhood all the children are having surrounded by nature and older people to guide and teach them , Hugo seems to have the music inside him he was enjoying the music. Thank you for sharing these special moments with us . A beautiful video congratulations
Thank you for sharing this! Very moving & touching content. Your sister really does look just like your Mom! I couldn’t help but shed a couple of tears at the “good bye” moments with sis & dad… I can’t imagine being in her situation. I hope when I am at that stage of life (dad’s), that I will be surrounded by as much family love and caring as he is. Cheers to you and your family from California USA! 💙💙💙💙💙🇺🇸💙🇹🇭
What a lovely video Damo! This reminds me of my grandparents place over 50 years ago and I miss it… Hope your dad will recover quickly! Thanks for sharing your family life with us….Have a wonderful week 😊
Great video Damo, from the heartstrings being tugged to the joy of watching Hugo being so happy then back to the peace of your life and your beautiful environment 😍
Happy your sister got to spend a month with everyone I hope she has a safe trip back to Germany such beautiful traditions and all the women dads sister and you your mom so beautiful eating healthy skin is so beautiful thanks for a enjoyable video
Thank you Damo for the update. Sad for you to see your sister go, but a happy day too because your father was able to communicate with her by touch. Hugo s a great little dancer, but you did not explain what the festival was for. Was it just a village thing as I don't recall any processions here in Khon Kaen. Yes, my wife gets so excited about "catching" mushrooms too after rain and being a real Isaan girl know exactly which ones to collect and which ones to leave because they are poisonous. She also knows about which jungle plants are good to eat. Your mother is correct about leaving the roots behind although I suspect you would be better off leaving a few mushrooms behind to spread the spores for a good crop next year. I do worry about the avid harvesting not only of mushrooms but also small, undersized fish and birds, as in years t come they will be wiped out just like the rabbits which used to be common in Isaan about 70 years ago! The other thing about the small fish from rice fields is that in large quantities, they could be poisonous due to all the pesticides and herbicides no used by farmers to increase yield. However, one of the things I love about rural Isaan is that local traditions are being upheld, and passed down from mother to daughter. Long may it continue, but suspect that many will die out as this reason becomes more "modern" and young people seek employment away from home and their traditions. Thanks for sharing, God Bless you all 😀❤🙏
❤👍🏼Just as excited here Damo. chanterelle I pick. I know how yr sister feels. I had to leave my Mum UK last year she died in May 97yrs. At least I got to be with her a year. Wow that was a big beetle. Hugo has got the vibes!😂💞💞💞💞
Thanks guys what a great video, I was going to comment on mushrooms but got lost emotionally with Damo's dad, these times with him are now so important, he is a tough old bugger. Sorry Damo your sister is your mother's twin from another generation. Dancing boy Hugo is developing and he is looking much like Otis these days. ....I still want to talk about mushrooms...another day
They speak Khmer language, my mom side of the family speak Khmer -Surin language. My mom tells me we have family near us Surin, but I have not been able to find them. Hugo is the happiest little man.
Lovely Beautiful video Mo, to see you and your sister foraging for mushrooms and her farewell to your father 😢 also Otis & Hugo especially especially enjoying his first village festival & dancing 😂. Shame about the one minute or so self promoting Ryan 😢
In terms of mushrooms Reishi is an anti-inflammatory but i do not know how effective it is, i have had luck with Turmeric and black pepper - extracted turmeric i think is more effective. I
Psalm 56:8 - You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book?” God knows our suffering and tears. He sees how we suffer, and He is near to us in our suffering. No tear that you have cried has gone unnoticed by your heavenly Father. Including your sister are going back to Germany by staying with her husband as she's still able to take her time to return to see how your feelings with your parents are too including chatting happily. Blessed well to reunion with your family members for a long life living.
Thanks to everyone for being part of our journey!

Great video on family/village life. I will be back in Thailand on January 2nd. Will be living in Mae Sot.
Your sister has very curly hair like your brother, where does that type of hair come from in your lineage ?
My wife gets very excited when she finds the mushroom. 555
What do you think of Amanita mushrooms?
What would you suggest for arthritic pain, I am 56 years old and have a history in the family of arthritic pain, just wondering what would help 👍🇦🇺

Just wanted to add that your sister DOES look like you. In the last video Ryan said she looks nothing like you. Not true.
I agree, they all look alike & like their mother. Only difference is the curly hair which fascinates me as far as lineage & origin.
