    A little about me:
    Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.
    Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly.
    He plays and teaches guitar on his TH-cam channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket.

    Dear teacher, I am incredibly grateful to you for this lesson, and it is very important for me to tell you about it. The thing is, my acquaintance with ukulele happened very unexpectedly three years ago, after my husband almost died from pneumonia; I took care of him at home, and it was endless sleepless days and nights, medications, injections, breathing exercises, etc. When he recovered, my health deteriorated significantly: my right arm started to go numb from the elbow to the fingertips, panic attacks and pain in my back and neck began... Not the best time to start playing the ukulele, right? But that's what saved me back then, even though it was very difficult because the fingers of my numb hand didn't listen at all, there were big problems with fingerpicking, switching the chords, and strumming. But I persisted, played for hours a day, watched various tutorials on TH-cam, trying to learn something new every day. It was a challenging but very interesting adventure that brought me great pleasure... And then, five months later, a war started in my country, and I couldn't play anymore... A week later, I picked up the ukulele and couldn't play anything at all: everything I had worked so hard on suddenly disappeared. Over time, I started playing again, even saving myself by playing in a shelter during rocket attacks. But the former enthusiasm was no longer there, unfortunately. Not even my husband's gift, a wonderful tenor ukulele with low G, could help. I just didn't feel like playing... And now, two years later, your lesson, and my favorite blues, I pick up the ukulele and play along with you... You can't even imagine how amazing it is!! Thank you! This long message is just in case you ever think "Who even needs this? Who am I doing this for?" Just know: it is needed and very important, and you have already saved at least one soul. Thank you again and peace to your home.💙💛

    Good job
    I play a lot of uke and number 1- get better strings-ukes are real string sensitive( aquilas are real good)
    tune the high a string to G now you have more flexibility in bar chords and a fuller sound
    you can also use a low D string on concert and tenor ukes for a heavier sound
    get a Martin uke-the soprano oxk is amazing and can be found pretty cheap ( $300 new $200 open box)

      My man with the pro tips!

    • @budandbean1
      @budandbean1 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @miamistomp These are really some great tips! I personally have an antique mahogany baritone uke that I use but I use the Aquila GCEA high tune strings and it’s so great. 14th fret at the body joint and the larger body make is so easy to play but having the higher register strings make it sound like a soprano or concert uke. I’d recommend it to anyone that might think a smaller uke is tough for them to play.
      I do like Sean’s Ortega with the cutaway and the built in pup system but I’m going to definitely look at the Martin unit!

    • @miamistomp
      @miamistomp 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@budandbean1
      The nice thing about the oxk Martin is it has a laminate body that is very sturdy, stays in tune in the muggy Florida air and for some reason projects really well ( much louder than my all solid wood. more expensive Martin)
      Perfect for gigs outdoors

    • @budandbean1
      @budandbean1 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @miamistomp Thanks, this is really good to know. I certainly understand about the humidity... I’m just north of Orlando but I’ve played a lot outside in Daytona and New Smyrna but actually, never used my ukulele in a show... I do play a Garrison Guitar because it has a laminate finish and a aluminum internal x-bracing system that the weather doesn’t effect when playing outside, never really thought about it with a ukulele. Nice chatting with you!
