Oh how i wished Microsoft released this as a standalone monitor, 2 versions; one with & one without touch! The 3:2 aspect ratio really fits my workflow too so come on MS, do it ;)
@@aldrichuyliong8143 well, the standalone version without touch would not have that stand at all so that point is moot. Preferable an VESA mount unlike the 3:2 Huawai monitor that was just released
This is an amazing review, clean simple easy to understand, I'm still thinking about whether or not I want to transition over from mac to the surface line up. But for now the ipad pro and the macbook pro setup for work and design seems to work just fine for me. Maybe however if the surface book 3 and studio 3 comes out, it might just spark something.
Honestly being that I just do art as a hobby (Although trying to improve) and I'm pretty bad at it I would not consider anything like this. But I love your style of reviewing so I watch anyway lol. I do have the 2018 iPad pro 11 inch so I'm looking forward to your review of the new iPad which I believe you got the 12.9 option this time around.
Hopefully the next gen will come with a choice of RTX 3060 or Quadro RTX 3000 and a larger screen. I think they can add an additional 2 to 3 inches on the same chassis easily by going down to a 4-5 mm bezel.
I don't see much jitter in the software I use because those softwares have set up for the pen input in a very fully baked way. Check out my Surface Slim pen video I go into that in it, and my Surface Pro 7 review will be up soon.
@@CladioJulianoArt thanks for the answer, I got the surface studio 2 for six months ago. I like the machine but I always have some jitter on adobe Photoshop. I use lazy nezumi pro to help, it is not a bad deal. I bought the slim pen after I saw your review about it! I like it! Thanks Juliano
@@francoisspreutels8600 Check out Clip Studio Paint and Krita. Photoshop is not really baked for windows ink, it's made for Wacom tech. In Clip Studio jitter is very minimal and only semi happens when doing very slow diagonal lines. Unfortunately Adobe has never put in the effort to fully bake PS for modern Surface input.
Touch was very responsive, there was no lag there. That was probably just the video making it look weird. But at this point this thing is so dated I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone.
I really appreciate this review. One of the best I've seen on youtube

Hopefully they don't get rid of touch on the standalone version...otherwise the hinge and screen that comes closer to you is pointless.

Thank you! My 2020 12.9 iPad Pro review will be up next.
I am about to get a Surface Studio. I look forward to your set up video. I think I will be using Affinity and Sketchbook.
I wish they would come out with a standalone Surface Studio monitor. I've already got a PC.
Everyone wishes that...

Thanks man! Yes, 2020 12.9 review coming up next.
Does the surface studio 2 plus work now? What is its lifespan?
Nice vid, thanks.

really hope that the new MS Studio 3 comes in black :)
Hi Juliano, thanks for the review. Do you have some jitter on the line like on the others surfaces or is it better ?

Great content keep it up ✌
Can you mount it on the wall?
Doesn't have that abilitly. The hinge and base aren't designed for that kind of thing.
At 4:24 He said the responsiveness.... But I can see the lag when he swipe diagonally...
