For all talking about body position. We all, at one time, want to ride as "good" as, or right now ride as his level, or were as "bad" as him at some point.

The Duke rider should bend head down to the handle bar more. The elbow and head should point down to the end of handle bar closes to the corner.

Looks like the Aprilia rider is more skilled and knows the track better, was battled between RS660 and 890R to buy...gladly went for the KTM, amazing bike, but you can see HP can't beat skills and experience...well...almost 😂 Nice video 👍🏻
I was in the same boat...but also was considering Street Triple 765 RS and Yamaha MT-09 SP. Like you, I went for the 890 Duke R. Incredible bike and makes me look and ride better than I probably am!

Great !!! I understand you like the Aprilia ! As you are very good driver. I have two bikes. The ktm superduke 1290 r, and the tuono factory 660. Today, I don't really feel happy when I am the faster rider only because I have more hp and more torque. It's not funny ! More and more I like riding the aprilia and chase bigger bikes in the twisties. That's really fun !!!

LoL that Duke rider needs to learn some body positioning and skills on another bike. Makes us Super Scalpel riders look really, really bad.

well riden!but for me the 890R is the better bike, on the road even more. i test riden the aprilia and coming from a 765RS street triple i was pretty disapointet in the 660 engine to be honest, i would switch in a heartbeat to a 890R if i could affoard it right now ^^
Thanks. Never ridden the 765, only had a Daytona. I test rode the 890R and 660 back to back and preferred the Aprilia. The suspension felt better and the gearbox was buttery smooth vs the tractor KTM 🤣 Yes, power and torque is less compared to the KTM and the difference is very apparent as seen in the video. I now have smaller front sprocket and it makes it feel so much more powerful. At the end of the day it mainly comes down to which riding position you prefer. Happy riding!
@@AmStartCrew err, the 890 R has supposedly top-noch WP suspension, so its odd you preferred the 660 Ape's one - which has nothing in particular? Unless you liked it soft kinda street riding. Put a full Akra on that duke and map, and I think the Ape will only see it dissapearing on the horison.
(yea, in the vid Ape guy clearly is more experienced...)
@@denisr7887 yes, the KTMs WP suspension is fully adjustable and might be better when dialed in for track, but I rode both bikes back to back on the road. The 890 felt soft out of corners but harsh over bumps. The Aprilia's chassis is far superior to the KTMs which makes it handle and feel better despite the lower grade suspension. I know some clubracers that are winning with the Aprilia with stock suspension. The package just works, and if you were to spend on suspension upgrades then it's got no competition I believe.
