Hi, Helpful video - thanks. What sizes are the two pulleys? I want to know the ratio so I can get the torque about right.

The big pulley is 260mm and the little pulley is about 65mm. I didn’t make any calculated decisions when choosing the pulleys, just used whatever I could find that suited the belt I was using. Cheers

So a wiper motor will work I knew it would but couldn’t find anyone else that went that route
good news my plans are coming together nicely naw that I have a confirmation I’m not nuts
But I just figured a garage door opener or a 2000lbs winch were extremely overkill for what a bead roller could handle

Yep that’s absolutely right! Go with the wiper, heaps to choose from and cheap!

Hey you ever look into making a microwave transformer spot welder 👍 it’s a cheap add to your garage it works well.
And you can find people throwing them out or giving them away all over the place
