i just want to say this is the very best I have seen on youtube. everyone else is using a hard to find motor that is not easily available. yours is easy to find....and cheap! your installation also looks the best.

@Rob Ardy , I got mine up & love how it works. Thanks for the help & detailed instructions you gave. I'm so glad I seen your video's before I did the drill, chain & sprocket type I've seen other youtuber's do. Now I can finish up the section of sheet metal in my trunk where it meets up with my tail light panel. The 1 peice no one in the aftermarket re-pops.

@@rdspeedfab Any idea how to move the speed control to the food pedal? In other words, the motor speed depends on how much you press down on the pedal. Does that require a specific style of pedal?

Rob! I wanted to say this is THE BEST conversion to a motorized bead roller I've ever seen! I will be doing this to my Eastwood bead roller. Quick background. I have a passion for '56 and '57 Ford cars since Dad purchased a used wagon in 1957. I started a restoration on that wagon in 1968 after purchasing it. I took it to a body shop 'I trusted', telling them to replace all the rust. When I got it back, I found the rust was covered in masking tape and body filler! 🤬 I started learning welding and panel fabrication but a draft notice in 1969 changed my plans. I enlisted and ended up staying for 20, retiring as an M-1 Tank Motor Sergeant. During that 20 I continued learning panel fabrication, welding, etc. So, I still do all kinds of rust repair and panel fabrication but don't have the expendable income to pay 'big bucks' when I have the fabrication and welding skills to make almost all the items I've wanted. This video and your parts list gave me items I've been looking for to upgrade a bead roller I've had for 35+ years! THANKS! 😎😎😍
