Nice gift Nice knife I’ll have to look into a Moore Maker knife That Case is a beautiful piece I have a Swayback in CV and Chestnut Bone that’s a peach too Their smooth Chestnut Bone is nice too Good day for you Randy I know you love your Trappers God bless
Hey Georgia, another great video 👍🏻 Two great knives and love the bone on that Case, absolutely gorgeous 😎 Thanks for sharing buddy and appreciate it. Stay safe and well brother 👍🏻 Oh and hope you’re enjoying the new home 👍🏻
Nice knives GA. BTW, Matador is out in the panhandle of Texas not far northeast of Lubbock. It is out in canyon and wind turbine country. I go through that area from time to time. Tiny place so I am amazed that they can maintain a knife manufacturing facility there. I will have to check into that.
Moore maker our great knives but I hate to bust your bubble they don't actually make any of the knives at that facility they are made for them by another company
That chestnut bone sure looks rich, can almost smell the late fall musty leaves layered on the ground! Also will pray for your acquaintance ,as I had a friend who was a Vietnam vet and witnessed things that disturbed him. Lost contact with him, like he just fell off the face of the earth.
Sending prayers for Shawn🙏And that's a really nice pair of trappers, buddy. The color on the Case is gorgeous. And I really like the looks of the Moore Maker knives as well, I don't own one yet but I'd like to. Cheers!
Nice pieces you have there. I have an older Case Chestnut Jigged Bone CV Stockman from the '90's. I believe you may have been reminded of the Moore Maker by one of Richter's videos. I think I remember him mentioning Moore Maker as "a little way up the road".
Georgia thanks for your video buddy I appreciate you showing them really cool pieces thanks so much 😊 Shawn used to tell me a lot of dark things and I know his past wasn’t so good I hope nothing happened to him because he was very unstable he was doing ok for awhile but I’m scared to think he ran into problems again!!!! Stay well Randy be careful out there 😊
These are great knives I have the Texas one myself but they are not made in Texas. They are made under contract by United Cutlery case knives and bear and Sons depending on the model. You can call them and ask them yourself they will tell you. They say the case knives are really collectible and the United Cutlery have been the best knives that come to them. They are not false advertising they just don't let that be known openly
Yes I will be sure to keep him in my prayers. We have buckeyes up here in northern Indiana. I don't see as many as I did when I was young. The two trappers were great also. Stay safe, 🙏 gods blessings too you and yours. 😊
Georgia Yes! More Trapper talk! I love it! those are both great! especially that Case! Love that bone! I really wish I could give you more info about Shawn. I also havn't heard from him and have emailed him. He has mentioned that he suffers from some mental issues and Id rather not disclose that here. I also pray that he is ok. Maybe he is just talking a break and enjoying summer.Take care brother.
I have been to Matador. It's out in West Texas in the Lubbock area. They make a killer fencing tool, which is their most famous item. And they have a fixed blade I really like too, in Curly Maple I think. Fun place to visit if you are into wandering. And it is out in the Texas desert.
That's a great gift! A real good looking trapper. That Case is awesome! I am not sure if it's my place to say why he isn't posting but Shawn is pretty much okay. I will ask him if I can make a post or video about it.
I have one of the MooreMaker Texas trappers. It’s a nice knife. I agree with you about Case and the bone they put on their knives. No one does it better. Thanks for sharing!
Very nice knives I love trappers never had a Moore need to check them out I drink RC now after Coke went woke thanks for the video take care in this heat.
Hard to beat a Case Chestnut Bone especially in carbon steel. I really hope Case starts putting out more carbon knives...and will definitely send a prayer up.
I am not familiar with your friend @watchcityknives.I pray he is found in good health and safe. As for the Moore Maker I will add to @jamesdickinson5173 comment. Moore Maker does not make their own knives but do own their own patterns. My Moore Maker Trapper is a 2004 with stag covers. She is a looker, but her snap is lacking. BTW I am playing catch up on my knife-tubing today. Been traveling.
Nice gift Nice knife I’ll have to look into a Moore Maker knife

I agree, Chestnut Bone, top 5.
Maybe top 2 or 3 😁
Very nice knives I love trappers never had a Moore need to check them out I drink RC now after Coke went woke thanks for the video take care in this heat.
Thanks
Moore Maker actually contracts out their knives to U.S makers, mostly Case I expect. They only make a few things on site now.
Good info, Thanks
Fully subbed!
Great video Randy, 2 awesome videos. I sent you a DM Regarding Shawn, he is definitely missed!!
Hard to beat a Case Chestnut Bone especially in carbon steel. I really hope Case starts putting out more carbon knives...and will definitely send a prayer up.
I have the carbon trapper and sodbuster jr with Mahogany bone and lovem
Did you see the shout out and mail call I did for you brother?❤
I watched it a few minutes ago…thanks for the shoutout! Sorry I missed it, I try to watch everybody’s video…sorry I missed it!
@georgia_adventurer no problem brother, just wanted to make sure you knew that I acknowledged you,for the awesome work
I got a couple of Moore makers and I think it’s better steel than case
Had to look up Matador. It's in the Texas panhandle. Looks like they are a retailer. Do you think Case made their trapper?
I don’t know much about them
Bear and sons does some of them , Queen use to before they closed up .
