Just a quick point here because I forgot to mention it in the tutorial! At the bottom of the inspector window in the tracker, you can set the tracker to “full colour” and it will look for the colour you pick too. Forgot to show this for this shot because it tracked so seamlessly. Definitely needed it for some of the other ones in the park though so worth checking out!
Maan you're so awesome, imagine that i just began to learn DaVinci Resolve last week & here U R.. A perfect, simple, easy, best tutorials i found on TH-cam.. I'll wait for all Ur videos Keep up the hard work.. Subscribed from all my heart ♥
Thank you for the tutorial! I'm a super novice, I just try to put "good morning" text+ on top of some cute animal clip in a creative way for my girlfriend! Video editing is so captivating
I've been binging your videos, amazing stuff man. Oh btw, you talked about a video on displacement node in one of your videos. Is that video still coming out?
Fantastic video, man. Been binge watching your videos for the last 2 hours. Your videos are amazing. Please keep doing more videos. Love how you want to help people change from after effects to Davinci resolve fusion. Another most important reason people are hesitant to switch to fusion is because of the lack of cool 3d infographics templates and other templates where after effects got plenty of. Your twitter follow motion graphic template is phenomenal, man. Please make some more infographic and social media call out templates and some lower thirds and titles. Also there is a huge market gap in motion graphics market, only you can fulfill. It's potentially worth over $1m , no kidding. Let me know if you want to know about that market gap. Even after effects Haven't yet fulfilled the market gap.
hey Ryan, Is character rigging possible in Davinci fusion? I have been trying to find tutorials but none exist for that. I have been using fusion since the start and don't really want to switch to AE.
Hey dude! Character rigging isn’t impossible in fusion, but it’s not the most intuitive tool for it either. There’s a video from Cezar Farias where he made a custom tool for this in fusion. th-cam.com/video/ycTWNlZeizQ/w-d-xo.html Overall though, I got to imagine it’s a bit more limited. Have you tried Cavalry? It has a free version that has a character rigging tool on it. Worth a look at.
@@RyanOsborneUK I tried to track using the magic mask took in fusion page and i connected my text to the magic mask node and it doesn't work. Please help
@@RyanOsborneUK Thanks for responding! Already watched this video that focuses on making our own animations. But Can you just attach an out animation (from transitions under effects) in the nodes for instance.
Nice stuff. But instead of making text stick to something, could something else be used instead of text? I have a footage of railway tracks and I need to stick a signal at the side of the tracks. When I do so the signal clip is still, while the railway tracks have a slight camera shake. So I was wondering how the make the signal to move exactly like the background of the railway tracks so that it does not appear fake. Any suggestions? Could basically follow the idea here, but was wondering how to use the clip instead of text. Thks.
Hey Ryan, love your videos and watched them all multiple times, and cant wait to use this tracking effect in my videos soon. I have a slightly unrelated question though, I'm trying to make some 'lower third' titles with a rounded corner rectangle, and I want to be able to adjust the width easily from the corner, but theres no way to change the pivot on a mask, but then adding a transform node to adjust it from that point just make the rectangle stretch out and it doesnt work as desired. I have seen that to do a similar thing in AE it needs the use of expressions, is there anyway you know of to do this in fusion? This is the video of what I want to do but in AE th-cam.com/video/NrdtDTKSWv4/w-d-xo.html
Hey friend! Yeah I get what you mean. There is definitely a method to do this but it requires using the poly line mask instead of the rectangle mask. Use the polygon mask, right click in your viewer window and go to Polygon 1: Polyline and go to create. From there you can select rectangle. This will create a perfect rectangle in the polygon mask node and you can use the shape animation keyframe to do exactly what you’re trying to achieve here 😁😁😁 hope that helps and thanks for the support!

Can you help about making black and white motion graphics (minimalistic motion graphics)
It's really help me alot
Thanks
Is it possible to do this but using magic mask?
Yeah you can track using magic mask too! Studio only feature I believe though. What kind of effect are you trying to achieve?
@@RyanOsborneUK I have the Studio version. I am trying to do basically the same thing you did in the video but with magic masks

Hey! Can we add premade transitions for text in fusion also? :) I tried to do that and it doesnt work.
Yes it’s definitely possible. Give this video a try: th-cam.com/video/6KjAPgleUP0/w-d-xo.html
