That’s a misleading argument. Other versions DO NOT omit verses; the translation is based on ancient manuscripts that never had them to begin with. One could just as easily argue that the KJV added extra verses that were never there.
@@timwildsmith I 100% disagree, I understand that they are using a handful of older manuscripts that hardly any early church father ever quoted from. The texts are about 95% identical, so wouldn't you argument mean that you can't trust the TR either? And of the places where they differ, what significant doctrinal issues are concerned? None. This is why the KJV-only TR argument confounds me.
There is no Orthodox translation unless you are talking about the St. Athanasius Academy LXX and the 1904 NT-but sadly, there is no complete Orthodox Bible in English.
Also, it isn’t translated from Aramaic-the NT and OT utilize Greek, and the ROC uses a mix of Messianic translations of the OT in many Russian translations.

@MichaelAChristian1 I study quite a bit and am familiar with the various approaches used by scholars and translators when it comes to making decisions about how to translate the texts. Also, the texts themselves do not entirely stay uniform or constant, text to text. Some passages that were found among the documents leading to the KJV, for instance, don't appear in works later discovered that date prior to those used to support the KJV. An example is the woman found in adultery, from which passage the famous "he who is without sin, cast the first stone", is not found in earlier texts.

This is confirmed by some Latin Fathers of the 300s and 400s, including Ambrose of Milan, and Augustine of Hippo. The latter claimed that the passage may have been improperly excluded from some manuscripts in order to avoid the impression that Christ had sanctioned adultery: Certain persons of little faith, or rather enemies of the true faith, fearing, I suppose, lest their wives should be given impunity in sinning, removed from their manuscripts the Lord's act of forgiveness toward the adulteress, as if he who had said, Sin no more, had granted permission to sin.[b]"
