I noticed that too in the video. The instruction sheet packaged with the controller does not state that. Unless they are touching, both LEDs would not flash.

We want to have 20 residents with two standard FOBs each, but 2 or 3 residents may need Master FOBs. Can that be done, or are they all the same once they're cloned?

I did it. Easy. 2019 chevy silverado. Did the same except butted the remote to the homelink. I pressed and held 1,2 or 3 while transmitting the signal

I've tried this several times, and it don't let the other work. The light blinks on the control panel inside, but it doesn't close the gate. I press the xmlr button and it switched control to the other one, but will not clone following the above instructions, which are very simple to follow.

Hi Hector, for situtations like that you would have to let him out with your remote unless you have the wired or wireless vehicle sensor. You could also put the gate in partymode and keep the gate open during times your home is being serviced. Partymode option is on both the premium remote or wireless keypad.

Hi John, yes you can clone a 5 button remote to a 3 button remote. Just make sure you know which remote works the gate and clone off the working remote.
