Just used your idea on my ghost install, paired up easy to the cars homelink. Have you had any issues with transmitter distance? I extended the antennea in the case like you did but I had to pull up within a few feet of the gate to get it to activate. I'm thinking of drilling a small hole to run the wire ant. out of the case and sealing it after.

Distance is the only issue I have had. I think extending the antenna outside the box would probably help

I tried that, but range was 5 feet, when installed inside the box

@@electricfamily4888 so I ended up running the antenna thru a small hole and sealing it. I may get two or three car lengths of range.
