Hmmm the joys of living in Australia grow anything most times.
That was incredibly helpful. Thank you. We are just taking baby steps on our first large garden. It is great to see how you are planning out the beds and using the succession planning. I can see how I can better plan for myself. Thanks again
Thank you for your feedback and we are glad you found it valuable
Your high tunnels look great. You are being very thoughtful and smart with your plantings.
Great information and you're an inspiration. It is so hot where I'm out I can only rely on tomatoes and peppers.
In Canada here in zone 3 we cannot easily grow food year long unless we have a heated green house wit artificial light…not practical for most so we have to rely on preserving large amounts in the summer…this time of year fresh food is scarce. Some people grow sprouts in the winter for fresh greens…
Love this video! I’m excited for your flower business but I’ve missed this content. Hope you are feeling great and your little baby will be here so soon!
Thank you! Great ideas for planning out controled harvest times and yeilds. Less stressful and more manageable... very helpful! Blessings on your family and your homestead! 🌻🐛Carolyn in Ohio 🌿
Everything is looking amazing Jill just like you xx
Aww thank you 😊
I grew kohlrabi once because I’d never eaten it and yum! I have 2 greenstalks left to fill with summer food and thinking I can grow in them. 😊
Everything is so well thought out! Thank you for sharing how you feed your family.
Very informative , clear and helpful. Thanks Jill😊
Hi Jill have missed you. Please.look up the effects of eating to much spinach. God bless you and your family😇
Get yourselves some perpetual chard. It tastes like spinach but will grow like chard all year basically
Where do you purchase perpetual chard?
I got mine from rare seeds. Other places in had checked for it were out.
This was a great video and very helpful. Can you do a follow up video on juicing recipes?
Thanks Jill ,great video ❤
The amazing thing about celery, (I'm in 7b as well, but in the Piedmont of North Caroline), is that it self seeds here. so awesome XOXOXO
Such great info-- all in one place! Thanks so much. 🌱💚
We live in SW Missouri. Would love to come and tour your place.
We are talking about opening up the farm for tours this fall
Have you ever tried Malabar Spinach? it vines and never bolts.
Fabulous walk through your tunnel and how you plant and plan. Thank you!
I appreciate this 😊
Good morning Jill and Nat.. WOW it all looks so good 👍 😊😊 having a hard time with my garden this year..last year was great 👍 this year beans died..peppers died potatoes come up and they die back 1 inch tall broccoli 🥦 😢 died and more 😢😢😢😢😢
Hi Jill, I love your videos. I am fairly new to gardening. I have a question. How to you control the tempature in the high tunnel? Mine gets too hot. I've tried fans blowing the hot air out but, it's still too hot in there. I don't want my food exposed to the toxic air.
Thank you very much for sharing all of your knowledge with us, it truly is appreciated. Blessings to you and your beautiful family. 😊
Enjoyed the video 😊
Your audio is only coming through on the left channel.
I taught that was me😂
I have this issue on all your videos when I have ear buds in 😢
I've mentioned this a long time ago too. It's very disorienting when you have earbuds in. 😵💫
@@YACABEIt is the way it is recorded and what is not being done to fix it during the editing process. I am guessing she is using the Rode Go II wireless mic, but not fixing the audio channel issues in post. I am too OCD to upload a video like this on any of my channels lol
❤
Pregnancy sure looks good on you ❤
Thank you!!
Great video and so helpful! I've been growing for a couple years but still buy a lot because i haven't figured out succession planting and proper seasonal veg. Thank you!
Ps i can hear you just fine 😁
Excellent video. Thank you.
Do you make your own salad dressing? If so may I have your recipe please. Thank you
😊
I have a question: What can I put in my garlic place (when I harvest it) that will be done by October? So that, I can replant garlic again this fall? This was a very helpful video. God bless!🌱🌾
Where I live, our first frost is in October, so most everything will be done by then. (All warm weather crops, such as peppers, tomatoes, green beans, squash, okra, etc.) I guess this depends on what zone you are in. ??
@sassyherbgardener7154 my peppers and to.atoes will already be in the ground, but maybe I can do squash or something quick. I was thinking a fall crop that will be done fast. Thanks for the tips! God bless!
How often do you have to add to your soil?
We amend the soil a couple times a year based off our soil analysis
I was just thinking about you. Did you have the baby?
Not due till later in the summer...
Can't hear anything
I can never hear you.
What happened to all the raised beds Jess and Miah built? It's a real shame if you took them all down.
Those beds are in front of the house. I know they grow a lot of flowers and other stuff in those beds and the cottage garden as well. They are using the high tunnels as they are better for production of tomatoes as they hate their leaves wet especially there where it’s humid in the summer and disease hits quick.
I’m not sure, but at the end of the day,it’s their home now,to do with as they please.❤
The raised beds are still there. That’s where we grow most of our dahlias
@@WhisperingWillowFarm Oh ok. I’d love to see all the dahlias!
@@kimberlyearly8918 they are just starting to bloom so stay tuned for a video 😉
Family of 5? Does this mean you have had the new baby?
No. She has 3 daughters. With baby it will be 6
