I did this and 2 of the 4 plastic screw grommets started spinning. I was able to remove them but unable to tighten them. I have it Gorilla taped till spring/summer when the snow is gone. I think the screws were overtorqued at the factory. But the LEDs are awesome.
Yes...they screw into a plastic grommet. Those grommets are now spinning in the hole. Screws are fine...plastic grommets are the issue. @@fredsgarage1925
If I had to I would definitely do the third brake light first. Anything that hopefully will keep someone from rear ending me. Where I live it’s a traffic nightmare.
@@fredsgarage1925 I already have the red third brake light installed. I don't know how well it works because I haven't found anybody to sit in the truck and push on the brake pedal while I watch from the back:-)
@@cecilfreeman6147 all you have to do is make a video with you phone. If you don’t have a tripod, just use a ledge or wall and then step on the brake pedal.
@@fredsgarage1925 I found the post on the T3 bulbs and tried to copy and paste it, but when I did all I got was the posters name at the top and now I can't find it again. You might have better luck here it is. Alvin23 said:

Are you talking about the torx screws that hold the light in?

You should have done it in the dark again to show the better lighting.
Ya, you’re correct. I wasn’t thinking
Ty for the video 😊
You’re welcome, have a great day.
I did the red third brake light but haven't done the rear cargo ones as I am doing the LED strip lights in the bed

And when your key fobs stop working, this is the cause. They can cause electrical interference in some vehicles.
Thanks, I didn’t know that.
