- Checking out another wild seed that we found in the balatro discord. Only this one didn't have much description other than "ante 1 double invisible joker". So I decided to check it out a bit and see what I could do with those. Along the way I figured out I can have an insane run with FOUR BRAINSTORM as well as a baron, mime, and a bunch of steel that made for a super fun run. This is on the experimental patch if you try the seed out for yourself!

It wasn't particularly crazy because of score or anything, but my favorite run so far was beating gold stake for the first time with shortcut + four fingers, I love the way that four fingers messes with your head in ability to make straight flush and flush house
Four fingers is probably my favorite utility joker. I love flush builds. I have two runs on the channel where In one I got used it and seance to make a spectral printer. Then another with shortcut and all the straight jokers which was pretty fun. It's such a cool card but it definitely messed with your brain sometimes about how it makes hands work lol
Awesome seed, and I have a small tip!
When you play your hand and the score is popping off, you can move youe Mime left and it will trigger the Brainstorms on the gold cards in hand for extra money.

If you put brainstorm on mime after playing your hand you get more money from the gold cards

Thanks!!! It was so fun too. I bet if I could get a little further there was another brainstorm or blueprint waiting for me. Just couldn't get the red seals I needed to get past those higher antes
Double invis joker... Something that COULD become a literal cash cow, but glad to see that wasn't done here actually (to the 10k territory like skootie did).
Instead we got a cool way to make many brainstorm (and subsequent runs of king rush), which is nice to see.
I think that invis dupe glitch was patched out. Not 100% but I think he did it during the demo. I'm not sure though maybe I could revisit this and see how crazy that could get. The only problem is I'd probably lose the run before anything could really come of it.
Also kinda wanna try it again and take blueprint....for science.
@@murphyobv That run did indeed happen on the last days of 0.9.0 demos, so there's certainly a possibility that was patched out.
Also, not really sure about how jokers would work but I do want to see blueprint copying mime and how that would impact the score.
I'll probably play it in my free time and see how things change and may make a short update video or something or just show it on stream soon!

Oooh I got a similar run to the unseeded, had baron mime brainstorm and dna, duped red seal kings, then red seal steel kings, then purple seal kings, got a lot of money for rerolling, found blue print as well as a couple invisjokers (used ectoplasm once) in the end I had effectively 3 barons (2 invis hits) and 3 mimes (blue print and brainstorm copying), was on plasma deck so I got to ante 23, and ended up with an e107 final score b/c serpent, def note beating that one anytime soon.
If you wanna try it out the seed is 368WC52U, it doesn’t hit until a while but don’t worry, it will, take the overstock, there’s a brainstorm in the first couple antes, also take the rare joker tag, it gives baron, a couple antes after that (or if you reroll a bunch) you will have dna and mime, after that, you’re pretty much set, so have fun!
Holy moly e107 is nuts! That sounds like a killer run! I'll definitely look into that seed that sounds like a bunch of fun! Thanks for sharing that with me. I've yet to get that high of a score outside of a seed I ran for naneinf. My current unseeded pb is e59. Love a serpent on a baron run!
@@murphyobvYeah it’s a super fun seed! Mainly from the shop, baron comes from the first rare tag you get but if you don’t wanna go for that there’s a bunch of other things you can reroll for, even found a legendary in an arcana pack! Overall, not naneinf possible, but still an awesome seed!
I would be funny if when you sorted the hand, it used Stalin Sort (Aka remove until sorted), but alas it would be really annoying
Not exactly sure what this would do? Would it be a custom sort outside of rank or suit?
@@murphyobv I mean like when you click "sort hand" or just an automatic auto-sort, so basically it discards/destroys until it's sorted, and you could add rules to the sorting. (previous to the run and not while in run ofc) But idk how feasible it is.
Hey murphy, great content, could it not be a good idea to replace king with mime? Or does it not do any difference
A good bit into the video I think I mention it...I'm not sure. But I did test it in my initial exploration run and baron clears mime every time. I think maybe if I had all seals it would have been better but can't remember. I've done some other runs where we talk about baron v mime and it always seems to be conflicting lol.

I tried this before and pretty sure i followed it through to what you got but i noticed some jokers were different like a blueprint popped up before brainstorm and then instead of baron i got obelisk i was on the same patch too so huh yeah idk what happened. I could try it again but very strange.
This was pre-patch iirc, and since then basically every seed has changed since there was a lot of balances to jokers, and their rarities and when that happens it affects the joker queues in the shop. So unfortunately this seed may be dead for this specific run. Kinda gonna be the norm as updates to the game roll out, seeds will change. But I'm sure someone will find another one with the immolate program soon.

Murphy, I've been trying to do Yellow Deck on black stake. Any advice?
So with yellow deck you get a bit of extra econ, but you don't need to spend it immediately. Try to work with the jokers in the shop if you can before you bug any packs. Baltro University had some good advice of trying to get 20-25$ of econ before you open packs.
Now that has changed with the new patch you get a buffoon pack in the first shop so that's approach has changed a bit. But try to save as much as you can since you're not getting money on those small blinds.
Also with eternals, try to build around them. So if you take an eternal fortune teller, try to get a tarot producer like a hallucination, vagabond, or cartomancer or the tarot vouchers. That'll build up your mult. Try to get a decent chip, mult and an xmult joker if possible. If not try to build into strong hands with some cars enhancements. With anything it's all trial and error and some seeds just don't give you what you need.
I'm not the best at higher stakes but I've absorbed that advice from balatro university, malf, roffle, gothic and zaino. They're all better at higher stakes than me but I hope this helps a little bit!
@@murphyobv Thank you! This really helped me out. I'm on console which doesn't have the new patch yet but this advice was brilliant! I'm one step closer to getting Plasma Deck now!

This was done on the experimental patch yes! If this was the old patch don't think I would have gotten as far with invis being 3 rounds. But you can check it out on the experimental build. It's a ton of fun!
@@murphyobv well unfortunately it was a console buy but I’m sure theres other seeds with a few brainstorms in them.
Hopefully the console patch will be out soon and the seeds won't change too much so you can check it out too!
i have 6 hologram seed (8 if eternal) but my pc broke so i cant test first seed

i forgot which one was the hologram seed,but if you dont find one its okay,all this if i remember correctly its also good,
reminder:if you check seed and got double Investment tag on first ante skipped all,your gonna get perkeo on the spectral pack,dont forget to reroll first until get emperor,use emperor and keep the money making tarot(forgot the name) so you can use it to buy blueprint and booster pack,you can take the face card flat mult( for sock and buskin run),and then exit you can skipped the next one for common joker because it Will get rifraf? and walkie talkie?(For hack joker that gonna coming in higher ante)

Sometimes you gotta go with the wackiness for the sake of being wacky lol. I'm definitely gonna run this again and see how much further we can get with blueprint too!!

It's usually at the beginning but it got lost in the cut. But its also at the start of endless which I have timestamped in every video and at the end of the run

Nah they patched out the infinite invisible joker exploit when the game released. That was only doable on the demo I believe.
