What an insightful talk! I think just about every developer (especially hobbyists or indies) should give this a listen. Great presentation and fun too!
One thing that comes to mind when seeing the game is that, at this price point, people will expect the art to be done by a professional. This is probably why the game isn't getting many reviews, as the art doesn't attract enough people to buy it.
It’s the same price as Tiny Rogues, which has a similar simple white on black art style, so I don’t really agree. $10 is a perfectly fair price for the type of game he’s selling. Whether the game itself is good enough to warrant it is a different question, but in terms of visuals $10 is enough of an impulse buy if he can get some word of mouth going; even more so now that the game is discounted.
@@CrossfacePandaLet the Steam stats talk about it: DRAGOT - 8 reviews Tiny Rogues - 7129 reviews It's much more apppealing, colorfull and the controls are very straightfoward. This is significant difference.
@@MEMUNDOLOL Strongly disagree. The whole point is to drag, it’s called “dragot” for that reason. Once you play a couple times, it’s pretty easy to use. I’ve even made it far on a basic laptop.
Didn't watch it yet cuz too many tabs open but supporting algorithm for small roguelike dev cuz that's the best kind of game
Watching the whole thing was actually nice. the guest was humble and informative.

I've played the game for 15min, but those controls are not fun. So it will be refund for me. Sorry.
