I'm getting into 3D printing for the first time. I'm just about ready to click "buy" on an A1 + AMS but I need to watch videos like yours to help make my finger push the mouse button down. I've been watching the 3D printer scene since the late 90s. I may have too much self control.
Thanks for the video. Iam a beginner watching every review I can find on bambulab printers. Can't decide between A1 combo or P1S combo. Is the P1 really so much louder than the A1? Which one would you get if you want to start?
I have to question the thought process behind the desiccant holder. I would imagine if you put the meter right beside the desiccant, it will always read low. In my opinion there would be no point in putting it in the holder. Maybe drill a hole in the top of the AMS. Putting the meter so close would give you false readings for the rest of the compartment.

A1 with AMS for sure. It is quieter but also easier to fix when things go wrong too.
Do you have a link to the desiccant holder at 1:51 ? Thanks. If not that’s ok I should be able to track it down.
here you go makerworld.com/en/models/734036#profileId-665801

Hi thanks for the video, I have an idea for that cable you can buy in a few. colours called plastic self adhesive 20x10mm D Trunking
I did a short on one I printed that worked real well, and had adhesive left over from something else and stuck it on. Good idea though!
