    Use some rubbing alcohol on that gasket, to get that Styrofoam off. It typically works fairly quick.

    would the jp23 be too much for this sub?

    • @SubzPawz
      @SubzPawz  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It's always better to have too much than not enough it's probably perfect you figure after you're impedance rise you're going to probably be perfect power anyways so it probably be the perfect damn for it and if you want to upgrade you could always use the same amp to have two of the subs instead of the one. Thank you I appreciate your comment and support.

    With the multimeter trying to read the voltage gets wonky, its all over the place. 🙂

      It is. I'm going to try a test tone today and see what we get

    Thinking about getting 2 of the same sub wat amp should I run

    • @SubzPawz
      @SubzPawz  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I would get something 4X the power you plan to run. They're underrated and take more power than they rate them, impedance rise, and it's always better to have more reserve than not enough. Thanks for your comment and support 🙂

    Are the E series the cheapest?

    • @SubzPawz
      @SubzPawz  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      No. The LCS are the budget sub's. Even those the part's they used are great part's for a budget subwoofer. Thanks for your comment and support 🙂

    Never match ur amp power with sub power using max or peak watts only RMS numbers matter certified and really dynamic number in watts gives u the best version of music wattage

    • @paulzedx636ninja7
      @paulzedx636ninja7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yep, even in the old-school days always look at rms over peak. You can see in the video peak doesn't happen very often. 🙂

      I always run bigger amplifiers than needed, sometimes double the subs rms or more. Can never have to much power on tap. Can always turn your amp down.

      @@Chuck_Sanders I can see you know how to set the gains so you don't send it. More people than not like to crank the gains until the magic smoke appears. 😁

      @@paulzedx636ninja7 yes, been in audio for 3 decades now. Even back in the early 90's we were running bigger power, wiring old Orion, Linear, U.S Amps, Rockford and PPI down to .5 and .25 lol. I used to do a lot of OEM repair abs l and custom built drivers, until about a year or so ago and now just do local builds. Trust me, back in the day... we sent our fair share of subs lol. I'm willing to bet, this E series got a little stinky there at the end... it was at full xmax a couple times, and was saturating the coil for sure haha. That version E is good for 700 daily without failure, on clean power, and keeping it in an enclosure that doesn't exceed the net volume recommended.

      @@Chuck_Sanders Sounds like you've been around the block a time or two lol. My brother had two surf board us.amps on 8 15s in a civic hatch it felt like it was sucking your eardrums in and out. I know the stuff they got now is a bit more insane but that was very intense. 😄
