It depends on what you want out of a sub. I'm not into SPL measuring, but I like a sub that can hit low. My £175 (at the time) SA-12, absolutely killed the JL Audio 12W6v3 (now £770) for both SQ and SPL. It was a night and day difference.
Just got an E15 V3 from a local authorized dealer for only $99+ tax🤘😎🤘 super happy with it so far and apparently their spiders are stamped and pressed at the factory so no break in necessary

Im looking at putting 2 of these in my nissan armada. going to have a down firing box built to ported specs & a pioneer 1200w mono block. Do you think that amp will do "OK" for these?
I have the E12v3 D4 and E12v2 D2. One was for my ride one for my wife..well ex wife...oh yes I took it right out of her car...lol I sure would of missed that sub. Anyway I am running the Kicker CXA 1200.1 on my V.3 D4 and it is very happy. I think I it in 2012 and been beating the hell out of it. Can't beat it.
Hey, I want to know if this sundown sub goes for SQL or SPL levels. I want to have a good SQL sub. With great tonality and loudness too. I currently have a deafbonce DBSA252 1000w rms and i am not happy with it. Too loud and does not catch tones. Please help me with it. Do reply! And also if you have a Instagram handle. You should check out the cheapest sundown subwoofer LCS-12. There awesome too

I got the JP 8 and that pushes the 2 12s E series just fine
did you have to break these in for a whole, i have 2 in a box made fore these ported, and they just sound so low off of a 1100 rms alpine 2 ohm
No just play them after a while they will break in just from playing them

That's more about the enclosure design than the sub. If you're wanting an easy button, I highly recommend Dayton Audio Ultimax subwoofers.
