It's nice that the new radios have 999 channels as I quickly fill them. It's very easy in the past to run out of memories in the past but 999 allows me to have many different sets of frequencies in different services and talk groups. I always use RTS or Chirp for making code plugs. I couldn't think of programming a large amount of channels manually.
