Emily,I just wanted to share that I have started doing your concealer trick where you spread first and then blend and I also started using a brush vs a sponge to blend it in and it has changed my world!!!! At least my makeup world lol thank you for all your videos I have said this many times but you are the true MVP on TH-cam! Love ya ❤
I totally agree that you don't need a special occasion for make-up. Heck, a LOT of the makeup I do is when i have the day off and I'm just having fun and enjoying the process. Makeup is very therapeutic for me, so I do it for myself and not because I'm going out or anything etc.

Lately when I use blue eyeshadow, I will put a little in the crease after I apply other shadows, and I lightly apply in the crease and then blend and it just gives a hint of blue but enhances the total look.

I get up everyday and put my makeup on, that’s just who I am. My mom was like that, my sisters. Nobody walked outta the house not made up. I love doing it, I work Monday-Friday in an office so I get up at 4:30 AM to start getting ready. No such thing as everyday makeup to me, if I want glam shadow then that’s what I do. If I want minimal then I do that. It’s something I enjoy doing and I feel good when I do it

Hopefully they’ll have some good stuff! I liked what you said about you don’t need to be going somewhere fancy or particular to just do your makeup! I suffer with chronic pain and I was going to try and challenge myself to at least get up and do some makeup. I’m just in pain ALL the time, it’s relentless and never goes away. When I heard you say that I’m really going to try &. do it, if not everyday a few extra days during the week! Thanks for inspiring me to give it a try! Another good habit I got from you is a gratitude journal. I’m not religious anymore, I got awash with my 2 kids over 10 years ago from a religious cult! I’ve just been doing my own thing. I love it! Most days, the only place I'm going is to school drop off/pick up and you know what? I still wear makeup most of the time. I don't need an occasion. Yesterday, I wore a minty blue-green pastel eye look with a bright pink lip gloss (the new Maybelline Lifter Gloss in Bubblegum) and the only people who saw me were the carpool line teachers. Loved it!
I love the formula of the L’Oréal Lumi bronzer but I find the deep shade to have big chunky gold glitter flecks. I also prefer a yellow toned bronzer over a rosy one.

Hey Em... you and i are almost always the exact same shade in foundation and i use the color N3 in the loreal shade range. I can also use W2.5. You look beautiful as always. Also.... I cant remember if you've tried lottie london cream blush in the squeeze tube buuut ( sweet blush in the shade soft rose)..... ITS AMAZING. They have some really fun shades too.
Hi Em! I still have that hard candy powder in the old packaging (pink lid) and I feel like it does have some cooling to it. However, if the powder has already been shaken out and exposed to air, it loses the cool effect imo. Maybe the new packaging isn’t as airtight! Btw, your channel is like a Time Machine for me. I’ve been getting a kick out of rewatching my favorite videos of yours from 2013-2014. Remember when the color of the year was radiant orchid? Or Bite lipstick in Palomino? I never change to darker foundation for summer I just use a little bronzer all over…works and saves the amount of foundation you have to buy.
