These videos are like “Tati’s Encyclopedia of Makeup”. Honestly when she has videos on damn near every product to insert it’s super helpful. Maybe add in produc time stamps, and these would be the ultimate reference guides to make up. Love it. Keep it coming.

Elf and L’Oréal have been wowing me lately. I’ve tried some other products from different brands here and there but these brands seem to be consistent with the good. I should dive into some more eye stuff from L’Oréal and maybe a primer.

Yes! It’s so refreshing to see how passionate she is about makeup. She appreciates a good product for what it is and not for the brand.
I’m curious, why are you not into makeup anymore? I ask because I feel the same way. In my case I stopped wearing makeup because it rubbed off with the mask and there was no purpose on wearing it, and I also got saturated with all the launches of products that we didn’t need.
I feel that launches became about flashy packaging and not of products that we will actually consume and enjoy.

I've just now been getting into L'Oreal, and I'm obsessed with their Infallible 24H Foundation. Can't wait to try some of these others now. Definitely agree with this needing to be a series /playlist /something! Hoping you'll do e.l.f!!

Tati got my hooked on L'Oreal. I've tried a lot of her recommendations over the years and I haven't been disappointed!
L'oreal is one of my favorite brands out there. It feels like so many people gush about the mascara and the fresh wear foundation, and don't really mention much else. So happy to see this video! Their facial tanning drops are incredible if you haven't tried those. They don't have as much of that weird, self-tanning stink that most tanning products seem to have. Maybe because you mix them in with your moisturizer? I don't know, but they're fabulous, and super natural looking. Thank you for this break down of each brand, Tati. It's honestly incredibly helpful for those times when I'm going to be wandering through the beauty section in Target wondering what's worth trying.

Me when Tati said she's never tried the Loreal Infallible Powder Foundation! 😧😦😮🤯 Girl. You better try that. I'm 41, dry skin, and this is my holy grail of holy grails. I will never live without this. Especially in the summer. Girl. Just try it.

I tend to stay away from powder foundation because of my dry skin but now you've got me intrigued, I wanna try it.
@@kellie5476 girl me too. I thought it would be a disaster. But at $11 I was like ehh what is the harm in trying it. And it was love at first use. I put it on over a thick sunscreen...usually the Australian Gold tinted. Or a good moisturizer. Or a serum foundation or tinted moisturizer. Depending on my mood, weather, skin condition etc. It literally blurs my forehead lines. Mattifies without looking cakey. I use a dense flat brush and buff it on when I don't need a lot of coverage. Or a wet sponge or even the applicator that comes with it, when I need more coverage. Or I use it as a setting powder over foundation using a big fluffy brush. It is also beautiful over a dewy spray like tatcha dewy or wet n wild coconut spray. Just play around and see what works for you. But I seriously cannot live without it. A lot of ppl are on the Elf Camo Powder now, but I tried it and went right back to the Loreal haha.

I used to LOVE the Manga mascara. Does anyone remember that one?! In my memory, I adored it. I didn’t wear much mascara back then but I think that’s the one that got my love for mascara started. (It could have been horrible,but in that moment, it was perfect 😆)

I can attest to the 24h fresh wear being amazing. It blurs the skin and everything blends so nicely on it compared to other drugstore foundations. L’Oreal is higher quality than other drugstore brands based on what I’ve tried.

Voluminous mascara is so good! I have green eyes like you, Tati, and the burgundy/maroon coloured mascara looks good but it's really subtle. I'm sure you could make your eyes look even better with it and some of your amazing lid colours:)
About 4 years ago, high end makeup was having a moment for me, but the pandemic made me wear it less, so 2022 is focusing on what i like and keepingit around vs buying the next newbie and seeing how it goes! The chocolate infallible lip sticks were so bomb at the time candyman was my FAVE! Ugh these vids are almost giving me makeup nostalgia

I love these one brand break it down videos!!!! I have extremely sparse, thin, sad little eyelashes and the Telescopic mascara has been my ride or die for years!!!! It adds such length to my lashes which I desperately need in order to see my lashes at all over my hooded eyes. I don’t care that it’s not very volumizing because if my lashes are voluminous but short, my hooded eyes cover them up anyway. So I 100% recommend the Telescopic mascara for anyone with hooded eyes!

L'Oreal is my favorite overall drugstore brand. More winners than losers compared to most brands, in my opinion! And Tati - getting my exercise in while watching your videos, doing my squats, lunges, and sets for my hand weights! 😊💪🏻

I stopped playing with makeup around the time COVID started and I started having health issues, but seeing you again the way I've always remembered you and your recommendations have me really missing playing around with it. The way you described the L’Oréal lipstick taste made me think of the Rare Beauty bullet lipsticks. I loved the texture and hydration and shades, but the taste was ever present. I had to pass them on because I never used them. Good luck with your move. I really want to see James in a Stetson.

I love your outlook - you get the opportunity to build a new beauty space, you get the opportunity to rebuild your platform in a way you want to - you GET to, not you have to. WOW! What a trip down memory lane. Could barely believe how many of those products I have used over the past 50+ years and how many I still use. After I got out of my Maybelline years, Voluminous was the first mascara I used.

You are completely right about the scent of their lipsticks I literally have thrown away every single one I bought even if the color was pretty because I cannot handle that smell. ... Your make up is on point and stunning your chest is bronzy and glowing and your nose contour is amazing love the curls in your hair
The lash paradise is my all time fave (got it way back when you first recommended it) and exclusively use it as my go to mascara. It’s voluminous, super black, affordable, and does not budge at all (even when I cry at weddings).
I will say that I REALLY enjoyed that $20 loreal palette. I went through two of them. It had all of the everyday colors that you could make use of & a few colors that you could elevate the look to a nighttime look. It was beginner friendly bc it blended like a dream, no fallout & great color payoff.
The macaron liquid lips are my die hard FAVES! I literally could not live without these lips! And of course lash paradise! L’Oréal has most of my everyday wear makeup!🥰

I really loved this video ❣️ Seeing some of these products is so nostalgic & really brings back so many good memories. I have the amber rush eyeshadow, along with many other shades, because of your recommendation. I have specifically bought the amber rush color a second time (which is so rare for me with an eyeshadow). I just wanted to say again how happy I was for you when you told us last week that you & James (& precious Pukka) were moving to Texas. A few years ago me, my 💞husband, & our little girl sold our house in NYC (where most of our family is), & bought our dream home where we also had no family or friends. It was absolutely an overall great decision & we are so glad we decided to move. I could tell in last weeks video how ecstatic you were & after the past couple of years I’m so glad you & James can “start fresh” in a new state. 💗 I hope you can show us either an empty house tour or a tour when everything is finished (obviously whatever you feel comfortable with, if anything).
