i really enjoyed this video! you brought solid editing and production for a casual vlog, and i came away w a clearer sense of what the LA housing market expects from tenants like me!
The question isn't should you buy an apartment in LA but rather do you have the capital to buy and maintain an apartment in LA. Also, I would never suggest buying a house or apartment with a bf or gf because if something bad happens you are stuck.
Good points! Those are definitely things we considered as well - and regarding buying with an SO…you can always write contracts (but more importantly, take into account length of relationship / marriage commitment -- I wouldn't say "never" suggest, since everyone's situation is different!)
@@catcertino If anything goes wrong selling it is an absolute nightmare. If one party doesn't want to sell it or has a vendetta there is absolutely nothing you can do.Renting a home and buying a home together is completely different.
But it's kinda average here in LA. My rent was 2k+ before covid 3 years ago, and my current mortgage is 4k+ per month. That's about the price you pay for decent location and amenities here. It's not even fancy or anything.

Girl you are SOOOOOOO pretty!!
Looks like you settled in the South Park neighborhood!! It’s definitely my favorite neighborhood in LA and I’m so jealous you’re living my dream 😭
im moving to LA in august to attend Northridge and its a freaking nightmare finding a place
not really there is always inventory coming out everyday.
@@Tedmosby97 I found a place, but I meant just getting your foot in the door, not necessarily the amount of places there are
How do you like DTLA vs the other neighborhoods you lived in? Is anything actually walkable or do you have to drive?
DTLA is dirty, over priced and not safe
Everything you mention is the same with Miami FL , 2 sides of the same coin 😅
Thank you.
WHERE IS APT 7
I like how you shitted on your “needie” boyfriend throughout the video. Poor guy
Lol atp id tell him he need his own apt😅
with that price point I would move to different city
To each their own I love LA

So expensive.
Why would u stay in Cali if working remote. Never understood this
family? friends? culture? weather? proximity to the things I love to do? plenty of reasons for me personally :)
Why would you not live in Cali if you work from home and have the flexibility and affordability to live anywhere?
At 3k you might as well just buy a house dude
What u talking about? A house in a good place in LA is around $6k a month
