Hello! We got theese installed in our 2014 Honda CR-V and it looks awesome, however, once I got back home, I noticed theyd didn't installed the undercover back... I am assuming it hast to be installed back, for what I can see in this video. I don't know why they didn't, I will go back tomorrow to our Honda dealer and ask them why is the unvercover missing. My question is: Is it vital to place it back? I saw some components exposed and I honestly feel uncomfortable they are exposed to water and dirt. :/ I hope you answer back. Thanks in advance! :)
Yes you do want the undercovers put back in place. Besides protecting components from the elements there is also sound dampening material attached to these covers.

They tried to explain me that once they install the side steps, they are not "allowed" to put them back because of the little space it is left. I told him that I watched your video and how you cut it to make it fit. Then they said they'd put them back if that's what I wanted and I said "But of course". So I waited and they are back, however, they didn't do the clean guided cuts you guys did. I wonder if that would affect anything?
I guess it's good if you want your passengers in the back seats to have a step to help them get in the car. It disappears under the car in the front. Seems kind of pointless since the driver won't be able to use it.
I have brought a similar set, OEM make. But it doesn't come with instructions or a template. Instructions I can get by without. But would like the template. Where can I source one? Thanks
@@i.paredes1571 I didn't manage to find a template.. I was lucky to have a great machanic who knew what to do. He had to reweld 1 bracket as it was never going to fit.

Maybe they should consider reading the Honda installation instructions.
Mine rusted so bad I have to remove them before they fall off. Lasted 8 years.

A Genuine Honda product will come with a template. They are not sold separately.
