I’m so curious to know if you guys can guess my personal color and your thoughts on the results!!! Hope you enjoyed the video! Don’t forget to like comment and subscribe to support ya girl ☺️🫶🏻 (I swear the intro isn’t supposed to be a spoiler 😂👀)
Insightful vlog! Did she also check what nail color suits you and what patterns are good for you? Can I ask why did you go with Cocory compared to other color analysts? :)
where did you get it done? This particular place makes no sense to me. If you're a spring, you suit spring colours in makeup and hair, and gold jewellry... so i have no idea what's going on ! I had mine done in the UK and it felt so right via House of Colour with their OG colour analysis. If you don't like your palette on you, it's probably not right...
I’m definitely no expert but just looking at your profile picture you look like you might be some sort of winter. Which would explain why orange is horrible on you. I could be wrong . Just my very amateur opinion based on one picture and going with your instinct that orange is wrong for you. Because I trust that you know that part better than anyone
No we didn’t go through glasses shapes! From memory, she did ask if we wore accessories and I didn’t mention glasses 🤔 maybe that’s why! I’ve seen other reviews on YT where they do go through eyewear shapes though!
right? and why does the professional give cool and warm tones for her to wear? cause if her season is spring, then it's warm, but there are some tones from winter, summer and autumn...
My skin is cool toned because I have more redness :) but she goes through all the seasons to see what is still suitable from each category so if I wish to wear clothes that belong in those groups, I’ll know which colours to stay away from XD in my case I need to stay far far far away from darker shades, saturated colours and very bold colours! Where as pale colours from the spring palette have just enough colour and enough white to make my face appear more balanced and healthy! Hope this helps! She also ran us through a little bit of knowledge at the start of the session which I didn’t include in the video because it would’ve been too long to include 🥺 she mentioned that if you are cool toned, you can also work with warm tones, just depends on what’s suitable for each category through elimination. Without the elimination process, they would’ve sent me home with a cool tone palette which wouldn’t have been very helpful 😥 but I’m so glad she went through every possible colour so I don’t have to guess or wonder about all the possible combinations! I’m absolutely in love with the spring pale colour palette XD
@@dannirenn yes! i'm neutral cool undertone and warm skin tone, but my cool undertone interacts more with the colors and i also can wear come warm tones [i'm a soft summer girl, but some dark autumn colors suit me]. i understand that there are a lot of info and no one analysis is like the other, and it's a very complex analysis. i'm a professional color analyst too, but the way koreans do this get me confused... they don't work contrast alone, which would be a big step for me in my analysis so that i can tell better which palettes suit my client and eliminate righ away the ones that don't. also how she measures the skin tone with that gadget, well i don't know how to use that, i have drapes to analyse the skin tone too haha thanks for the answer!!
I really don't understand the Asian way of colour analysis. It us not coherent. Cool skintone but springcolours look bestbut make up in summer coloursand so on. Makes no sense at all.
Trust me I was so confused too until I watched the footage too 😅 they also teach you all about it at the start of the consultation with a presentation ☺️ I didn’t cover it in the video because I was choosing bits to leave out (otherwise the video would be an hour long) but they explained that for each category, you can be different seasons because it all depends on how your facial features change with the colours shown 💕 I hope that clears it up for you! Thank you so much for watching! 💗
They both have lightness in common. Maybe the reason she can use some of each is because for her the colours being light is more important than the undertone?
I think it appears to be mostly the same thing, Considering she has a neutral warm undertone and her other main characteristic is her value/depth being light, so if you look at the seasonal color circle, light spring and light summer are just near each other, they are sister pallets sharing neutrality and lightness, so she can borrow from it, the main difference is that believe it looks more personalized so more confusing for us
Hiii! I was able to handle and see the makeup shown in the video but I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to swatch them so I just took photos of the products to purchase and try on later ☺️ hope that helps!

I noticed right away 😅 the trick is to look for shadows under you jaw/ chin cause your skin doesn’t have blemishes/ dark spots etc 😊
Cant wait to see the video!! ❤ I already know its going to be soo good ♡!

I think I hear a bit of an Aussie accent in Jandi! Not that common for Koreans, they usually sound American!
May i know the duration of the session?
I think it was around 1hr 🫶🏻

Did they have natural light ? Or it was artificial light?

Ok I'll take a guess - no matter your skintone, you'll be typed as a summer or light spring, because that's what they do in Korea 90% of the time 😂
I had the same assumption walking in 😂 but she quickly debunks it with examples before the main consultation :)
