Sedum morganianum is best known as the Burro’s Tail succulent or Donkey’s Tail plant. It’s an excellent addition to any home as a houseplant if you have bright natural light & don’t water it too often. I grow mine in my garden year round, which looks great too.
It’s such a beautiful & versatile plant that it can go in a large pot with other beautiful succulents or in my case, a large 3-headed Ponytail Palm. When it comes time to propagate Burro’s Tail you’ll find it simple to do.
One of the greatest things about the Burro’s Tail is how easy it is to propagate. The only thing tricky is the fact that the leaves fall off like crazy when you touch or prune it. If you’re transplanting it, I’ve shared a trick for that which minimizes the leaf drop: • How To Work With A Bur...

Thank you, I found this video to be very helpful. I have a burro's tail but it's not anywhere near as big and beautiful as yours. But now I know what to do when I need to do it. I like all your videos, they've all been helpful, inspiring and informative. And I love your cat, he's gorgeous.

    Hi Nell! How are you?
    I WANT SOME! PLEASE! LOL!
I love your Ponytail Palms. They are gorgeous. I got one in the spring and just repotted it. It is medium size and I am hoping it gets bigger.
I have not seen Burro's Tail locally. I will keep my eyes open and pick one up.
I put my Wandering Jews outside in the spring and boy are they gorgeous. Neighbors are now asking for cuttings.
    OK, enjoy your week!
    Gerry

Hi - I love my Ponytail Palm & moved it to the center of the patio so I could see it from my living room. I'll be doing a cuttings giveaway sometime in August so stay tuned. Wandering Jew roots so easily in water - we had a huge 1 growing up. Hugs, Nell

I have 3 huge Wandering Jews that are growing crazy outside. I started to take clippings to propergate new plants for neighbors. The stems are so thick and the leaves are gorgeous. If you want any cuttings, let me know.
