Horizontal pieces for Cage CrinolinePressure 5~8 suggest 5 Don't add any pressure on waist band and Vertical pieces.

Alternatively, I found out a trick if your skirt is made of two parts: *select both parts, put a Pressure of 2 or 3 and Solidify them.* The value must be the same on both parts. Pressure usually pushes the garment away from everything else, but when you do it to both parts, the pressures work against each other, and *this gives volume to the garment.* I use it for pillows, plushies, and also for dresses when I need some flair.
someone finally shows how to make the cage for an underskirt, this was driving me insane! All the tutorials for victorian style dresses I was finding on youtube would just skip this part and magically have something appear... thank you!!!!
Thanks for sharing, That must have taken you a long time to make, I like clo3d but I think that making rigid shapes is very complicated and almost impossible.

I cant seem to get the fabrication of the hoop to be stiff enough, for the shape. What were your settings?
