Very pretty Jennifer! I love that stitch! When I make anything with a very long chain, I always add extra chains. They are so easy to take out. My teacher taught me that trick years ago and it always works out fine. Thanks for another pretty scarf and tutorial! Happy Friday!❤

I used this stitch to make a cardigan. This is similar to your merry making scarf.

Love this! The stitch would make a nice blanket as well. I do have some cakes that I only have 1 of. This would be great to use those up. Thank you. 🧶🥰

I love this stitch - it's the same one for the Love Letters Shawl, yeah? And... Nifflers!! I love that Mandala colorway!!!
I had never thought to do that stitch in stripes but it's GORGEOUS. Definitely gonna make one of these!
PS: The "Niffler" Is the adorable shiny-eating platypus-looking little dude in FANTASTIC BEASTS and WHERE TO FIND THEM

Yes! Same stitch, but this scarf is turned on its side to stitch it up lengthways! I thought it would be a fun way to show off the colors!
PS Thanks for sharing the Nifflers reference too!! :)

@@fiberflux it really works! Sometimes I'm a little skeptical to invest the time trying a stitch in a variegated or striped yarn; totally appreciate you doing that for us. Thanks for all you do - my daughter and I have enjoyed your channel + patterns for years.

Great pattern (as I’ve found all of yours are!) Just a FYI, your blog says to use a J, 6mm hook, different from the TH-cam video. I’m going for the H, 5mm on the scarf I’m making (in Sphinx) for my DIL. Thanks for your beautiful patterns!

She gives the multiples, so you can make it as wide as you want.
