As @brett2themax shared, you CAN craft from storage IF the chest is close to your crafting location (work bench, furnace, etc)!!! This is SO helpful! 🥰 Thanks, Brett!
@@BuckeyeBunny there does seem to be a sort of radius that it works from. I have a chest literally next to my workbench on the right and then I have some furnaces, my anvil, and a tanning rack nearby that all pull from that same chest. It’s a little trial and error figuring out how far away stuff works. For example, I can use my tanning rack from the right side of it and it will pull from that chest but if I try to use it from the left side, it’s too far away.

I've had so much fun playing and exploring. The storyline had me hooked, and I've been playing every day for the last two weeks. My biggest bottlenecks were steel and wood. Look, the game is not perfect, but it definitely takes game of the year for me!! My tip is to follow all the nooks and crannies you can, outline the mountains and find sneaky treasures and hidden notes that add a lot to the storyline. Be a loot goblin and keep all the crafting materials you could potentially need.
This game rocks, the discord is cool too, great community. Also, you can craft things straight from storage, but the storage has to be semi close to the crafting device.
Fighting multiple enemies at once is better than fighting one on one. Enemies can damage each other so having a couple come at you at once means they'll probably damage the other.
I cut down a straight path through the grass to the southern farm gate from my door as it makes it quicker to get home. You could do it to the other gates as well. Thank you for a great guide.

Glanced at your character levels and noticed only 4 charisma for talking to npc-s and thought: a true gamer. Then noticed archery is 0, so that isn't true after all. Good to know that npc interaction works like in the sims, basically we need to mirror their interactions. Really great guide.

I tried it on aged wine and still I'm still getting the same amount of gold with artisan skill disabled. mind you I also checked the market when the aged wine is in neutral demand. tips for combat. this is a bit broken but just use the bow. the bow is OP in this game. but if you want to play with melee then just go for it. but bow really is broken. you don't even need to tweak the combat system. I loving this game so far. been playing for more than 30 hours now.

It would help if the game provides a bit of guidance. 🤦♀️ I've heard others say the bow is awesome, so I finally got the hardwood and crafted it last night, but the melee is so much faster. I really enjoy it, but I like a bit of combat and dark moodiness in farming/life sims for something different. If combat and a somber aesthetic aren't your jam, you might not like it. It's gotten a lot better in terms of performance on Steam Deck and PC, so it's definitely playable, but you might have a bit of lag/stuttering as new areas load.

It is! But, last night I found a shop that sells sage. Only continue reading if you want a spoiler..... It's in the southeast in the boar area in the lady's cabin (can't remember her name - Morwen maybe?). After you finish her quest, her shop unlocks, and she sells sage.
@ollo-tr4sl I don't know exactly, seems like every couple days, but you can sell to 4 places near your farm: Agatha's garden shop, farm, blacksmith, and pub in town. Maybe the Inn too. ❤️

Does anyone know how to follow companions like the dog or the eagle that are seen in some trailers?
I saw on the roadmap that companions are coming later...haven't seen a dog at all currently, and just a few random birds flying around.

There's new Yultide content coming this month and marriage/pets/angry bards in Q1 2025, so they're not done yet! :)
