Country kitchens have lots of clutter- I know from experience which needs cleaning. Clutter harbours dust so now my kitchen is streamlined with a few large statement pieces. You are going through the fun stage and enjoying making it a home for yourself. Nothing wrong in that. The string bags you have were used lots in the 60's and 70's in the days when we all went as children to buy fruit and veg from the local shop. We recycled far more and there was less waste than today. Glad you opted for a Roman blind and didn't go down the route of country kitchen drapes with frilly valances and curtains. We all learn from any mistakes but don't cut your self up if something goes wrong, your diy skills are saving you hundreds.
They do something that sits in the bottom of your sink that acts as a buffer to stop breakages you don’t even need a bowl shade todays video was a 10/10

Looking good, like the handles they set the doors off, I had a ceramic sink a while back to stop the endless breakages of plates & cups I found a plastic coated wire basket with small feet to stop it scratching the sink same colour as the sink, not sure if they still do theses anymore? it worked fantastic 😁 no more broken crocks 😁

Once you brought out some of the darker wood decor it connected the darker brown tones in the counter and floor together. I love the painting and you styled the shelves nicely. On camera the door looks reddish which is making the woods compete against each other.

Your kickboard for the dishwasher needs to be shorter than the others as it then allows the dishwasher door to drop down. (Sorry if you already knew that)

We recently got a Ruggable runner for our kitchen, would recommend! Especially the cushioned pad, v comfortable under foot
