FocusOn Project Nitro at Steelserv, Glenbrook

In this FocusOn, we meet Mark Weaver (General Manager Steelserv) and Tom Rahui (Operations) at Steelserv who work at the New Zealand Steel site in Glenbrook. They explain Project Nitro, which was trialled successfully to address two key sustainability issues for the surrounding local community: removing non-toxic iron-oxide clouds from the iron-recycling process, which were simply unsightly; and suppressing dust with custom-designed dump trucks that use recycled water.
