lol, "CFB Saskatchewan": the only base where you get 3 days to set up defensive positions after spotting the enemy through a scope (I know there's no CFB Saskatchewan, I'm making a joke)
I just did BMQ, considering going reg force for infantry. This video makes me want to now! but i'm just going to finish grade 12, done this year and i'm going to apply :)
take some advice....avoid combat arms trades..when ur in garrison u are the assigned slaves of the base admin...doing all the joe jobs, such as picking up cigarettes butts, and cleaning toilets.....trust me..been there...
@JN - 06BA 906155 Williams Parkway Sr PS you meant personnel (and corresponding equipment of course) ?! yeah, no problem with that, non issue, but I'd caution you in regards to quality rather than quantity, more does not mean better, in fact could cause problems and corrosion
William Leblond Damn such a long time. What specialty did you apply for? I applied for regular force; infantry, armour and combat engineer. I have heard some people say they got in, in 3 to 4 months. I'm just trying get some info for some kinda time frame because the recruitment center is really cryptic about this stuff.
PreezyFB im joining as infantry soldier, it took me so long because i had to give additional medical paperwork and it took one more year of proceeds.Just dont loose hope, and show them your the one they need.
hey is it possible if i can get in contact with you in anyway, I'm going to apply soon and I need to ask some questions that someone in the forces could answer for me and not a requiter
I'd like to join the infantry and im about to graduate high school in January on 2018. So I will be starting my application this September (2017). Infantry is not one of the "in demand" jobs which really worries me as I really hope to get in but feel as if the other jobs in the army will be easier to get into and there will be a bigger opening but I do not know if that is the case. Would it be a better choice to apply for Jobs in demand or to stick with infantry since that's what I really want to do. Ive read articles on the CAF forums about how hard it is to get into the army as positions are very limited and there are too many people trying to join and again I wanted to get your opinion on that. my 2nd question is how long does the application take until you are completely accepted and get the date to go to basic training?
If it's what you really want to do stick to infantry. That's the only trade i put down and my application took 4 months fully and it wasn't in demand at the time
are there any particular dates for Basic training? lets say I get my application finished by January would I start Basic Training in around the same time?
Interview and medical left then it's the waiting game, recruiting sergeant said armoured needs 500+ and infantry needs 1200+ so I hope I get in to BMQ this year
they have to, its protocol, who wants to get pegged by shrapnel in training? no one, in Afghanistan for example no they wouldn't do that, this is just for the sake of not ruining their fucking careers before they started.
hey man i dont no what the distance is in farnham, but i was wondering if i could ask you some stuff about the legion that i cant find anywhere on the internet. i want to join i just need money to fly to france, so if you can help that be cool
I think cananda has good ground troops but in todays warfare air power matters helicopter's and fighter jets weather it be air force fighter jets or navy fighter jets which can fly off navy ship when it comes by shore by surrounding enemies
Woudnt surprise me, best way to get used to real combat is real training. When you sign up you know you can die wether that's in combat or training is the difference. Its war.
Great video man!!
FUCKING EPIC. great job
Matsimus Gaming oh look it's matsimus! Hey mang lol
thank god you posted this theres such little info on the course to this day
lol, "CFB Saskatchewan": the only base where you get 3 days to set up defensive positions after spotting the enemy through a scope (I know there's no CFB Saskatchewan, I'm making a joke)

CFAD Dundurn
IsnanaDayton CFAD
It’s like that old joke about growing up in Saskatchewan and having a dog run away and being able to watch him run away for three days.

We need more of these!
yes more of these, more intact families, less divorce, less marxism, less gangs, and less liberal woke

@JN - 06BA 906155 Williams Parkway Sr PS all these issues you list can be fixed... need political will and grassroots support
Brings back memories
Start Basic In January with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry then heading to Meaford for DP1, can't wait!

From a fellow Argyll.

The best BIQ or DP1 video I've seen. I miss Afghanistan so bad. After war with the infantry life is dull.
This is so awesome. Pretty sure I saw you and got excited! X :)
Just curious how long it took some people to get into BMQ after the aptitude test and everything was done?

@2.56 is that a hi-power or Colt m1911A1?
Three years to late but fuck it. The standard issue handgun for the CAF is the Hipower. Cheers mate
Whats that weapon at 2:04?
M72 LAW
***** Oh, It looked like a M203 or something? Didn't look like a LAW lol
it was a LAW, M203 are absolutely different, and when they do M203 training they are mounted to their C7A2's.
I am pretty sure that launcher was an M27A6 Canadian Disposable Launcher (one time use), I think that is what it was but I might be wrong.
