Passed today (28th June 2024) with 896😭✨️. If you're a complete rookie, you must start with this video. This is literally enough to make you pass since all questions asked in my exam were covered in some way or the other within this video itself. Doing separate tests by paying for them isnt necessary at all for PL-900...
I passed the Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals exam this morning! Your course video and study guide were incredibly helpful and clear. Your explanations made the concepts easy to grasp. Thank you for your fantastic work in creating such a valuable resource!
Just passed my exam, scored 826. I completed the MS Learn modules and used this and John Savill's video for final revision. I recommend going through the modules first, then using the video for review.
I cannot thank you enough for making this video! It was a great tool for me being able to obtain my certification on the first attempt. I listened to it in the car and also straight through at 2x speed a few hours before my exam. Definitely will be watching more of your videos!
Omg! This is so timely! I’ve been trying to learn this for work as we have an amazing subscription that is hardly being used and so many processes that could benefit!
It’s awesome to see people passing the exam with the help of this prep video. I’m preparing to take the exam as soon as I possibly can, to increase the likelihood of a pending career change at my workplace. Thanks for providing the roadmap at the beginning too, this helped me see the next step immediately!
I love the content of the video and that it's taken from Microsoft's learning pages directly, ensuring it's accurate. It's a very clever use of AI, a robot reading the content in your voice. It's very apparent in the way the AI reads some of the words (Power BI comes out as Power Bi instead of B.I) and the cadence that it speaks at is sometimes off-putting! I appreciate the video and I'm looking to sit this exam soon.
I think it's great that you did this.. One thing I can't wrap my head around when it comes to these types of certifications, exams and the ways in which they are taught is.. I'm already building and have built several Power Apps, PA Automations, and Power BI reports for the company I work at.. I can do so without any supervision, customize as needed, gather requirements, etc. But when it comes to learning in this way.. I just can't do it. I haven't passed the PL-900 despite being super proficient at using the platform. The way it's taught and you're expected to learn is so dry and rote.. It's worse than anything I had to do in University. Even here it's basically like you're reading from a text book which is to say.. why then would I need you to do it when I can just read through the documentation myself? It's testing for rote memorization and ignores a whole subset of people who learn by doing. I just don't get how this is a thing.
There are many ways to learn. For areas that are theoretical and not ‘doing’ I try to make it more interactive by having coloured pens and drawing concepts as well as playing with the tool. But, you will need this background, when you’ve built cool stuff you need to be able to explain the wider environment, especially when you start asking for more resource from non tech people
it's a certification. it's not really for learning and more so for demonstrating to potential job prospects that you are capable and say you can do what you can. I thought you would have figured this out being a proficient genius and all@@whatisiswhatable
I'm taking the Microsoft practice exam and I'm finding that this course doesn't cover any of the required Copilot topics... or did I miss something? I also didn't do well in the Power BI section. I think it's time for an update to this course.
Man, you are Destiny, i just got a job offer like yesterday with that stuff included, and its awesome to see that 3 days ago even you uploaded this, Ex-Machina xD
The many-to-many example given at 53:30 is not an example of a many-to-many relation. Even though many-to-many is a valid pattern it is rarely used in a relation databases and is more commonly seen in logical models.
ive had this exam free for over a year. i now had better do it... especially as ive now just got pl400 developer for free.. and i think that is way out of my league and only have 3 months to take it.. ill have to drop my az500 retake then... hope your resaource help. thanks
I've always been confused by Microsoft's certifications. Sometimes I wasted more time figuring out what the certifications were and which path to take than I spent actually practicing the material. Unreasonably confused
You know what would be a great addition to this channel? Outsystem Tutorial with a practice project, there is close to nothing online about outsystem (besides their official videos). Thoughts?
Benjamin Netanyahu is doing an exceptional job. His words are very powerful and he follows through on his promises. I wish we had someone like him to vote for
is PL-900 already removed from the list of free Tier certifications? I'm looking for the free practice exam but can't find anything related to PL-900 on the website.
Hello, respectfully I would like to know if this knowledge is in demand or if it is considered an asset. I'm moving towards data analysis and this came in the certifications list. It is very tempting and I would dedicate time to it if it makes sense as a next step, considering Fabric, the new Power BI with AI and Tableau with AI. Thanks for your time.
Hi, yes It can help you finding a job, although after the Fundamentals certification I'd pursue at least one associate certification to give a boost to your CV
Great Content as always. One small suggestion , why do you keep on repeating " Hey , this is Andrew Brown from ...." Don't want to hear the same thing again and again for 3-6 hrs . We're not gonna forget your name!
51:28, description of relationships. many to many... help me understand why the scenario described coming from a relational database world "For example, a customer could have multiple orders, and an order could involve multiple products" I would expect... 1 row per customer table, an order table that is either 1 row per order with an array key, 1 row per order with an order line item table, or multiple rows per order, but you'd join 1 to many from customer Then you'd join product from order in a 1 to many. Where's the many to many?
I experienced a practise question with this exact example being used and the answer was many to many. Unless there's a specific dataverse reasoning, i'm starting to believe this is just a question/example that has been lost in translation over the years. Between a stack overflow question and a microsoft access training, the example is more like this: A many-to-many relationship exists when one or more items in one table can have a relationship to one or more items in another table. For example: Your Order table contains orders placed by multiple customers (who are listed in the Customers table), and a customer may place more than one order. A customer can have multiple customers I think is the key missing piece of information... or product should be swapped with customer.
