hello, I worked as a Junior C# dev on WPF applications for 2 years. I really want to get a job as a low code Powerplatform dev or even a pro code Spfx dev. I have already done a project in Powerapps with SharepointList and Automate(MS Flow back then). Sadly this job is very rare where I live. Can you give me a tipp where to look? Do companies hire full remote in this field? And what qualifications/certs would you recommend to get hired.
What’s the pay like for contract work? Like, if someone starting a consulting business wanted to hire a power platform specialist/developer to build the model driven app to serve as backend infrastructure to manage clients, like a basic CRM, and then also integrate it with a few power pages with client facing forms embedded in them to collect user data.. from scratch to finished product, call it a 6-8 week job for a single person… what would be a reasonable estimate for that scope of work? Ive only ever done small jobs and charged by the hour, so I’m trying to get a ballpark figure for something like I described.
Quite a hard question for us to answer as we are a large Microsoft partner and do not operate as independent freelances. We quote are projects based on quite a bit more detail than that 👍

Hey, I’d suggest looking at some of the Microsoft exams like PL900, PL200 or PL600 as certs to help you 👍

Not individuals unfortunately, we only offer training as part of projects we deliver 👍
