  • This is Makita's 7 type electric Circular saw.
It is a vintage made 30 years ago.
The blade was old and rusty. Wood powder hardens and prevents use.
    The code is broken.
    Replace the screw.
I use a chrome plated screw.
    The body is restored.
I found the sign of the previous owner.
    Replace the bearing.
    Rubber parts are replaced.
    The code is shortened.
I always use it with an extension cord.
    Paint with metallic spray.
    Each part is greased up.
    The parts are carefully assembled.
The video is time-lapse, step by step.
I have made this video in great detail about the process of repair.
You will know how to restore.
I am Japanese and am a hobby and repairs old tools.
I especially like aluminum body tools.
    I am still an amateur.
Please tell me in the comments.
It does not matter in any language.
    But please refrain from slang.
Because there is a problem with translation.
    Thank you all.

I really like how you re use the bearings and brushes if there is nothing wrong with them. The original parts were made to last and in my experience are much better quality than some of the cheap eBay bearings that people generally replace them with on TH-cam

Nothing wrong with ebay bearings as long as they are from a name brand bearing manufacturer..

Thank you for your comment. The bearings are abnormal when they make a noise.
Regular replacement is desirable because they are consumables.

    • @diyrestorationclub7534

      Bearings are consumables.
And there are some bearings that are not worn yet.
It will understand if you try to rotate.

Kudos for the Video clip! Apologies for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you tried - Schallingora Dexterous Programme Scheme (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a good one off guide for building any shed in no time with no experience without the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my old buddy Taylor got great success with it.

I have the same model but the problem is I cannot tilt the angle cause the bolt rust is like welded to the pivot arm and the inner safety cover is wrongly positioned.
mabe the previous owner made a DIY many many years ago.
