- Welcome to my channel, Kadiyah’s Journal. On this channel, I create artistic spreads that bring me joy. I am on a mission to change the way I think about journaling-good news-there are tons of ways to journal and if you are interested in a no rules approach to journaling (and planning, because why not?), this is the space for you!
My fellow creatives, whether you are memory keeping, writing, planning or decorating your journal, I encourage you to journal the way you want!
Sometimes you will find me sharing snippets of my day-to-day life, vlog-style too!

i always wondered why people called their journals junk journals when they are keeping memories of things that they did that year i call my journal a daily time capsule journal of all the things i put in there plus write about i love the way that i journal love seeing how others journal as well

Junk journal means like where you dump your thoughts and stuff write memories

A junk journal is normally done / made with stuff that you would through away. Aka Junk e.g. envelopes from mail or leaflets etc.. It does not mean the writting you do in it is junk. 😅😊

They started calling them altered books, which I think made better sense. The Junk thing caught on, and that was it. ATCs (Artist Trading Cards went through the same thing. People also wanted to call them EOACs for .... I don't even remember... Something about limited edition and copies, which, imho, was a stupid thing, but people kept it up).

My bullet journal set up has 3 sections. Trackers, monthly calendars, and random journaling. It’s fun to have documentation about things that happened during the year. 😃
