This build is out of control. Ran this to 50 in a couple hours then swapped to an “end game” build to start putting together and was like, this shit sucks. Immediately went back to this build and have been tweaking it in different ways ever since. Its core is so solid that it blows my mind. It’s incredibly versatile and can be customized in so many ways. Holy shit dude. Mad props
The ebonpiercer unique is so good for blight because it splits blight into five orbs. That combined with some leveling into shadow and darkness damage is great. I’m level 70 going against level 100 enemies and speed running nightmare dungeons
I've never been so lucky in all my life at level 20 to 25 I got Howl from below gauntlet, Ring of Mendeln and Ring of Sacrilegious Soul..... im legit eating food while moving my necro around and everything melts before I can get to the enemy. ty for the build

Not bad, i honestly go all in on minion's untill late game. Cleared 1st capstone at 26 on hardcore. Blight is really good when stacking shadowblight later in the game, but things die so fast i dont have a use for it until pushing pit.
my man thank you for this. this works great just cleared 1st capstone to open up WT3 at level 41 and died once at boss due to my own stupidity of standing in AOE lol but im old so I get a free pass on 1 death but didnt sweat the dungeon at all. also I picked up a unique ring that auto triggers explosions, raise skeletons and tendrils. I put that on and its fun in helltides, pretty much 1 button, push blight.....
i pretty much found this out on my own just today! explo corpse + de debuf aura thing, + a whole lot other buffs getting activated = insane damage! the capstone final boss literally took me 10 secs, the 4 at the start where absolutely whiped out of existence when i place the debuf and ult! AMAZING!
Maxxroll has blight as A tier levelling and the other normal minion build as S tier for levelling. Is this true? Just asking cause I'm Gunna play later and you mentioned blight is the best levelling build?
Maxroll A tier blight is pure blight without minions. Both, blood surge minions and blight minions, works perfectly fine. IMO blood surge feels a little bit smoother. I did capstone at level 32 without any issues.

The sad reality though is if you wanna push high pits you need a stronger build than just throwing something together, but you’re right that people should do what they enjoy if they’re just trying to have fun instead of going for leaderboards or something

Renown has a few skill points hidden away, get your renown up in each area of the map to earn the extra, you're going to want to do the altars of Lilith too
A lot of people in the UK say skel-EE-tal! Especially those in a healthcare/medical setting because we use the term musculoskeletal a lot where skel-ee-tal is more natural for me at least! Feels like a lot of the yanks are offended by this 😂

Shadow light is more end game when you can get your skeletal mages to 100% attack speed. Once your attack speed is capped then you switch to shadowblight as you won’t need the attack speed anymore

This build is so much better than the others out there, some say the best, I heard that today it is on its way or is already the best they have ever seen. So many minions way more minions then most, the crowd size is the biggest crowd size and their all beautiful. *fist pump dance*
I’m not gonna lie idk why but necro to me is the most boring playstyle so far. They strong it’s cool but just bland to me not much variation on the way u play…
I’ve now got the Barb, sorc, rogue and Druid to level 100 and started a necro yesterday and I swear to god I was thinking this same exact thing the entire time playing the class. I’m only doing this for resplendent sparks and to change it up and keep my grind fresh but honestly I really do think the necro is the absolute most boring class of all of them I’m not enjoying any of this play through leveling experience so far and I’ve tried a few different build variations. Very boring class.

Ran a pure skeleton build no golem. Cleared the first cap stone at 35 and the second at 48.

are weapons just a stat stick for necro, or actually do something?
Stats for sure. But weapon wise I'd honestly look for a wand. Innate lucky hit chance is great for the cooldown reduction for army of the dead.

I got lucky and got 2 unique rings while leveling from 1-50 that auto cast summons, corpse explosion, and tendrils every 1.0 seconds

Ive just been using them all and using blight on elites and stuff pretty sure u can use them however you want
They're not invincible, those blood maidens hit like trucks and i've had to res them many times.
Got to t4 at 44 with blight/skeleton was ez peezee!

It has to be equipped as a skill, which uses up a slot. Hope this helps
If you didn't get how on your skill tree should have a button that equip the button for all and move them for what button you choose
