About 2 years ago, I was looking at buying an EV. I was interested in the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.Test drive was not available on either car. Couldn't even put my name on a waiting list. Hyundai Australia had a weird allocation every 2 months or so where you had to order first come, first serve online. Put off by the whole process. It didn't seem either Korean manufacturer was really that motivated to sell EVs in any meaningful numbers. Anyone, it pushed me to look into a Tesla Model Y. Test driving and ordering a Tesla was so much easier and won me over as a customer.
The carmakers have seen your content, and they know that you'll put S#&% on anything that you don't like. They only want channels like Fully Charged to test their vehicles because they know for sure that they'll receive glowing reviews. Kudos to you for being honest in your videos, Samuel.

In my country, which is in Europe, all EV Hyundai and Kia models cost around 20k€ more than equivalent Tesla models. My country had a round of incentives so they were offering 20k€ discounts to qualify, but I don't know if these are permanent discounts or even if they are across the Europe or just here. This price diff might be the main reason they aren't on the list, but they are in my opinion second best choice in EVs after Tesla.
Where is BYD? And MG4 has pathetic results! As an European between BYD Atto 3 and Skoda Enyaq I would chose Skoda. The main reason: they have a strong network where you can repair it!

I'm going to buy a plug in hybrid and only drive it around on the ICE. Why? Because I want the best of both worlds - having no charge AND being able to pollute the planet.

We had hybrid for 12 years and besides AWD we did not see any advantage and now PHEV? You really better charge at home in 10 seconds anytime and have a climatized car in the morning and 70% anyhow do not 300 miles or 500 km per day. So why the hell PHEV? It just makes no sense. To the EU figures the press here was asking „Is the EV already dead?“ No wonder with the bad German products but they block the really good Korean stuff at the top they specially in Germany neither buy because all EV are from the 👿 After 54 years of German Premium my Kia EV6 AWD, our Genesis GV60 and some Ioniq 5 and 6 in the fleet are the best cars we ever had with no downtime and near to Tesla efficiency! We got the 2-LITRES-CAR that the liars and betrayers promised 40 years but they are so tied to the oilproducers that such cars were not desired by the industry and even much better ICE engines with lesser parts have been sabotaged by the cartel of the five in Germany. So with their media power they influenced the already confused and insecure for war reason etc. consumers claiming still that EV are too expensive and that we need more public charger slave systems instead of home and destination charging such as we do since 2008 with our fleet of 12 EV! So the EU figures are a little confusing as some of the best value for money do not sell well and others made pipe filling at dealerships with one day permit to show big sales or fleet business but not real sales. Many of Volkswagens products destroyed the used car market for others too with their mediocre products no one wants specifically as used cars. So again after Diesel they play dirty games at my opinion. And they control and still manipulate the media. I do not know what Koreans are doing or how they think about the situation but I steadily see also more Koreans on the street but they have not lowered prices as all the others! Interesting?!
Volvo (Geely) actually makes a 15-19% gross profit on their EV’s. The EX30 is quite a compelling EV. It’s not available in the US until this Summer. Could give the model Y a run for its money as us liberals turn away from Tesla😅lol.
Liberals buy chinese cars instead of the most american brand? They make car buying decesions a political matter? We would be really proud if we had a company like Tesla. But now I am starting to see why USA is going. What a pity.

I think Kia is selling pretty well in Sweden. I see a lot of EV6 and some EV9 here. Have only seen one or two Volvo EX30.

Dacia Sandero is the top selling car, then the Golf. Third place is the Yaris cross & in forth is the Skoda Octavia. Did not see an EV in the top 10.
