Dude at 0:18 said “Shoutout to everyone in Bacolod, I will kick you all” 😂 I’m from Niagara Falls, ON and been in the Philippines for 8 months in 2022 and now going back again to Iloilo on Jan next year! See you there PK!
What a great video! 🎉❤ I hope next time you visit Iloilo City again, you can also go to other areas such as; Mandurriao (a.k.a. the Business District) and other historical zones like the Molo Church or Jaro Church. 😊❤
Yes, definitely need to pack a hoodie or something to keep from freezing to death in the Philippines as most Filipinos turn the AC up to the coldest most freezing temperature possible 🥶 especially on (modern/luxury) public transportation such as buses and passenger vans.
Awesome video again Travel Chronicles...Thank you for visiting our place and hope you enjoy our Chicken barbeque and other authentic Bacolod food....Just wanna say I always make it up to watch and even waited to see you vlog here in Bacolod...Mabuhay ka
Like that you found a more affordable hotel. I always stay where I can get the best deal and once rented a one bedroom apartment in Manila on the cheap. I was only expecting a room for the low price.
You sound a little bit sick, PK.. hope you get well soon and still enjoy your Bacolod trip.. Stay safe and have fun! Don't forget to try Bacolod's infamous chicken inasal and cansi! 🙂👍🏻
Wow bro, you are really now touring the Philippines! To complete your tour, just include Mindanao 😅. There are good places to explore there like Cagayan de Oro and Davao because I noticed you like more city vibes and interact more locals 🙂 And when you go back to Luzon, hope you explore also Baguio City (the summer capital of the Philippines), Angeles City, and Olongapo City 🙂
You sound a bit under the weather, Pk. Stay safe and ingat! Btw, kape barako is really good! I got addicted to it when I was there 3 weeks ago. Nutty and delicious!
Bacolod used to be or maybe still is the sugarcane capital of the Philippines. there are a lot of old rich families there who used to be the sugar barons and these families will insist on no less than the best cuisines, you should be able to find high quality restaurants and coffee places there
Shout out to Kuya Robert the taxi driver! Where did you get the record of Bacolod having more coffee shops than Iloilo? What a joke! Local and international coffee shops are everywhere in the city, restaurants too are everywhere I can't even count them compared back in the day.
From the city of love ❤ (Iloilo) to the city of smiles 🎭 (Bacolod). Fun fact: both have similar language/dialects spoken (Hiligaynon or Ilonggo). Iloilo is well known for the Dinagyang Festival every January while Bacolod for the Masskara Festival on October. Bacolod is famous for it's grilled chicken called inasal while Iloilo is famous for its noodle soup called batchoy. ❤
Keep exploring bro, thank you for sharing. Just stop asking for prices of sodas and snacks. You can afford it. You are a tourist/ foreigner, a white guy from Canada, a walking ATM. Filipinos are not dumb. They know you have lots of pesos in your pocket. Always be aware of your surroundings at all times. Just be cool and don’t be too critical on talking to the vendors. They do lot like tourist asking too many dumb questions. Why would you ask if you are from here. Of course they are from here. They work and live here. So why ask a native Filipino, if he or she is from there. Duh!!!😒 duh 🙄 duh 😒
