I just wanted you to know that I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 20. I'm 56 now, and have 3 children that are in their late 20s and early 30s. There is hope, Josie, so please don't feel as if this will be the end of any dreams of children. I wish you very well and please give your Mum a hug xox

Why ruin your freedom and young hot body with children? Don't be selfish with yourself. Havibg innocent children on this sick planet is selfish when so many are born abandonned or in need of caring adoptive parents. Travel, spend and enjoy your life. Who cares really. So many couples I know admitted that their sex life and happiness stopped as soon as the child was ready to go to school. They are cute but they grow up and stress eats you up. Many couples have affairs or a double life to escape the dread of having kids.

@@--M--1111 that’s such a sad way of thinking of things. Children are a blessing. They are also of course a responsibility. Couples need to work together and support and love one another through all the trials of life, including difficulty with or being unable to have children. Our bodies don’t stay ‘young and hot’ and I think it’s very superficial to put something that won’t last over the potential new life - a potential new soul. Having children is the very opposite of being selfish, it is giving up a huge part of your life for an innocent child to live and grow and experience the wonder of this world - being selfish is all the things you mention - living your own life and travelling spending and enjoying things for yourself.

There is no cure for endo but it can sometimes be kept at bay and under somewhat control by laperoscopys every couple of years but for some that still isn’t enough and we have to live with constant pain and no chance of children but luckily if you have a milder case it can be very helpful with the symptoms and make living with it much more bearable. There is such a scope of mild to very extreme with endometriosis that fingers crossed if you do have it then it’s on the milder side! I truly understand how scary and how much this awful condition can affect your life, but find a good consultant and don’t be afraid to ask for second opinions. Love to everyone and big hugs for all us girls suffering with endometriosis and let’s get it more known about and cut the diagnosis time down by more awareness! Josie you are doing everything right to get this under control! X

@@oldhollywoodangels I will try to explain it as someone with a terminal condition which is ‘not cancer’.
Many cancers are treatable when caught early and these chronic illnesses are not. Therefore saying ’at least it’s not cancer’ completely dismisses suffering of the person with equally and sometimes even more debilitating health issues.
I heard it one too many times and with an untreatable terminal diagnosis it really hurts that cancer is the only ‘valid’ illness to get sympathy for.

My best friend has managed endo basically symptom free for the last 25 years. These are the things that have helped her the most:
-limited caffeine or alcohol (I know 😢)
-plant based, low fat, low sugar diet
    -alkaline water
-get a naturopath to supplement traditional care, herbal concoctions specific to you can be provided and are beneficial

Oh I'm so sorry. I had it for years and the Endo tissue attached my left ovary to my bladder! It does feel like the Endo tissue is ripping and bleeding everytime I move. Had three surgeries to remove the tissue and finally removed left ovary. I had a great woman doctor too and she was supportive in trying to help me become a mother. Now that I'm post-menopausal there is no pain at all. Take care and I understand what you're going through. You'll feel better after the procedure.

Omg, Josie. Sending lots of love. I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 19 yrs old, had several surgeries and a radical hysterectomy at 28 yrs old. My advice… listen to you intuition, trust yourself, do your research, and most importantly be your own advocate. Things will get better. Much love.

I have been enjoying your vlogs for years and wish you, Charlie, doggies and your family all the best. I think your mum is lovely too, the powder room is looking really good it has a very Edwardian vibe to it with the lamp shade and furniture. I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. Even without knowing this, you’ve inspired me. I have a medical condition that makes it painful to wear tight garments around my tummy. I thought I could only wear unflattering sweatpants and that I couldn’t wear cute clothes. You’ve mentioned a few times that you didn’t like clothes that are tight on your tummy, but you dress beautifully. It inspired me to work around my limitations and dress more elegantly. Thank you for sharing your story 💕

Both my friend and I have had the same problem, we are both 57 this year , I had problems with pain ever month from the age of 14 and was told it's normal, my problem was it wasn't. I was 43 when I had a historical rectomy 🤣😂can't spell it but this included removing some of my bowel and finding I also had cancer.
But my bestie also had suffered from a young age and has 4 boys and they are super gorgeous 🤗
Like most things , medical treatment has improved, you did so well explaining your symptoms and I'm sure this will help a lot of people.

I commented before I finished your vlog. I'm sorry you are going through scary health issues, Josie. I'm happy however, you finally have a name to it. You're young, healthy and wise and I know the universe will set you right. When my husband died of cancer [Dec. 2019, he died at home, as per his wishes] I found it helpful to meditate, something I've been dabbling in for 30+ years. I started off practicing yoga and progressed to meditative counseling. Haven't done yoga for years. [my bad] but during stressful time I can totally get into meditation. There are a good many channels with meditative mantras?Ohms? Hhz, to get one into a higher focus. Not sure if it works for everyone, but it does me.

Hi Josie I had endometriosis characterized by very painful menstrual cramps which the pill helped ease. Then at 31 years old, I had an enormous fibroid tumor removed, but they had to take one ovary as it was consumed by the tumor. Apparently, you only need one ovary to conceive. I married at 40 and got pregnant 41 without fertility drugs, and I had a healthy baby girl at 42. This condition is very common . Stay positive and don't exercise so much . I was forbidden to exercise before the surgery so I meditated. Sending you calming light and healing. xo
