After all the work and cash that you’ve spent on it I’d keep it. I’ve had an E46 M3 CS for 17 years and put 140k miles on it. Had the odd year where several things go wrong with big £££ bills, but you get through those bad periods and enjoy it again. There’s so many more good days than bad : keep it & enjoy it👍🏼

Glad i owned one but stock they are flawed. I think a clubsport build might be fun. But its still a costly machine. So heavy and insulated.

Thank you for documenting all this I’ve been tempted to sell my M2 and go for an E92 many times, i still think about it. But after watching this I realised there is no way I could afford to maintain one 😮
Buy a mint low mileage example and you will not have any of these issues. I haven't in 3 years. They are extremely reliable generally, most of this is wear and tear, the same with any old car.
I had mine 3 years and it’s been an absolute dream. All ready had about 6-7k spent on her. But that’s carbon fibre, Rod bearings and other preventatives. All I can say is don’t buy a car you can’t afford… stick to ur PCP m4s 😂 this car looks the best, sounds the best and is one of the best
Life is short! Enjoy the car! I have 2011 BMW E90 M3 with 124k miles! I bought it at 120k miles on an impulse buy. The amount of smiles that the car has given me. Priceless.
I have a x5 40d..3.0 twin turbo sttaight six.. Rocker cover gasket was leaking. Was quoted 700 quid for new gasket fitted. Did it myself for 35 quid plus injection puller off amazon
I just got my rack rebuilt- they can rebuild any rack no matter the issue. £300. My labour was £170Funny you mention quarry motors. I bought a power steering pump from them for my M3 and they sent me the wrong pump then wouldn't let me return it. Not a good company
Mate - jack it up and do it yourself = yep same with Focus RS mk 1 - the one thing available from ford and its £1200 lol - you can fully poly bush front back and get a decent rack for all that money - and the satisfaction of doing it yourself - you CAN do it mate !!!!
This is my first visit to your page. Don’t sell it , the E92/93 or a nice looking cars and they will look nice in years to come. I will shear this , I own a E93 , during lockdown I decided I would use the time to sort my E93 out. I spent approximately £4000 on parts. I changed all the injectors, coil packs, lambda sensors, Nitro sensor, MAF sensor, EGR valve, Rocker cover, repair the Alternator and replaced Belt and Pulley, front whee bearings, replaced electric windows main control switch. Now what started this when it went in for its MOT the garage said the management light was coming and indicated the fuel pump was the problem, i give the Ok and they replaced it all was ok. Few miles later the problem return after several visits the still couldn’t resolve the problem. Covid 19 came.. Lockdown. Hence, I systematically went through everything I know that would likely to fail due to the mileage ( 80000) . It has performed beautifully since then. I am reluctant to part with this motor. I don’t drive it the winter that often. So don’t sell yours if you don’t have to .. in years to come they will be the model that many people will be wanting to own. Good luck.
Sounds like something that would stop a BMW. I have a turbo R32 Mark 4 and BMs are just too damn much to maintain. Great looking cars especially the e36. Any leak however small , especially something simple like a ps reservoir should b fixed immediately as you found out.
