Perfect upgrade from my E92 330d. Absolutely love E92 M3’s even though I’ve never even been in one. When you know, you know. Watched this sat next to the finance director (gf) she glanced over and was emphatic..........NO! 🤦🏻♂️
Was doing track experience at Thruxton and paid extra for couple of laps with Tiff in one of these when they came out. Epic drifting through the chicane at the end of the lap. Somebody is gonna get a lot of fun out of that. Incredible that it's been replaced by a Yaris!
I had the privilege of driving one of these a few years ago on a Palmer Experience day - suprisingly wieldy for their size and weight. No doubt maintained to a very high standard too. Best of luck with the sale.
Sweet ride guys one we would all love in our garage if you haven’t already ! Steer with the rear always 😉 stay safe keep the videos coming it’s our life line 🇬🇧
It'll be some time. When I bought it back I specifically made a rule that it will never get in the way of the Murcielago build. It'll get done eventually though don't worry.
@@driftworks yes and no, doesn’t matter what your selling business is business, just like a TH-cam stream of income aswell as the wheels. RR went from a small garage to an international brand. A driftworks tv show would be less about the wheels and more about the great personalities behind the brand. Go bigger you guys are great and TH-cam is the TV of the next generation. 🤑🤑🤑
😂 I daily'd and tracked my DCT E90M3 for years. I would never choose a manual again. That's after I bought a brand new manual M2 thinking I'd go back to my roots. Then promptly sold it and bought my E90M3 DCT back 😄
Nothing wrong with them for track use, the problem is being driven hard from cold with the bearing tolerances being so slim, when the cars warm on track they are never a cause for concern
My ex-E92 now approaching 140k miles, it’s been a pure track day slag since around 80k and spends a lot of its life between 6,000 and 8,600 rpm. It’s as strong as ever.
The E92 M3 and Clio are both now sold. Thanks to everyone that enquired 👍
Yeah, I am a Jay viewer. But nice to see his sidekick Phil from time to time.
This should have got a heart tbh
‘We’ need room so James is selling one of the two cars he has in the unit 😂
😂
James seeing this video like 👁👄👁
Jay and Phil the most honest car salesman ever....
It’s crazy to think a Yaris could replace those cars but they really are something
A modern day STI/Evo if you will
@@codemy666 definitely. They managed to make a modern car without too much compromise for weight etc they look a real blast
Who would've thought that a track built M3 gets sold becuse of a Yaris... 2021 is effin wild lmao
Mental isn't it!
I should unsubscribe for this the humiliation of getting rid of the m3 for a bloody yaris 😂😂

52,000 miles... that is Palmer Sport miles, and if my Palmer BMW experience is anything to go by some of those miles are backwards through the grass
i drove both a Manual and dct M3. i'd have the dct in a hearbeat

I think you should donate the M3 to Jay for all his hard work.
Where do I sign? Is a tenner a week ok 😊
Never did i think id hear “replacing a m3 with a yaris” 😂 how times change, would look epic wrapped the same as the porsche and e30 if you kept it
Here early for Jay, BMWs and Clio’s 😃
Any drifting planned for this year?
Hopefully.
Need E46 content!!

what happened to the LT4?
It sounds like it's time to build the private DriftWorks industrial estate/test track to house the ever growing businesses.
Does it need handbrake for mot? Not that I can afford it 🤣
Yup 😂😂😂
If I had the cash I’d snap that up.
How many mpg does it get , and do all the lights work ?
Well... i checked my balance, and if i save for..lets say another 5 years... then, then i still cant buy it :(
Damn only 23k over budget for me 😂
I bought a e90m3 and absolutely love it. But wished I had test driven a dct car before buying the first one I saw. 🤦
No Tyseley short course test drives? That's it, I'm not buying 😂
What happened to the BMW Performance seats? 👀
They ended up in our friends 1M.
Nice track motor
Should comp it 🤔
What do you mean? Raffle it?
@@driftworks yeh surely there's enough followers to make it worth it. 😉
Hassle though. I could do without it.
@@driftworks that's 2 tickets sold 🤣
@@foxx1111 you can buy a lottery ticket for £2, I wouldn’t spend £25 chasing a used car
Seat delete gutted out with roll cage is a must 🥵
I hope this won’t be another m3 you regret selling
Do you know what brand those side skirts are?
I don't I'm afraid. I just checked to see if I still had details, but I don't.
@@driftworks Thanks a bunch for the effort anyways!
Hi guys do you stock the wheels that are on the M3? Looking for a set for my e91
Thanks
Lee
We do. Or did. Drop the guys in the shop an email and they'll be able to tell you if we have any left in stock 👍
lets see what i have in my pocket
(7.71usd)
is this enough?
How much it weighs when empty?
We've never weighed it. It's still an E92, so I'd expect 1550kg ish
Man I’d hate for them to do a walk around of my car 😂 Beemer looks decent for a 9 year old track car
If you made a raffle for the M3 for £10 per ticket (or what ever)? this stuff is getting popular, and give you some advertising to u. Just an idea!
That sounds like a great idea, I'd be willing to buy half a dozen
What an ideal tracktoy
I think it’s time for you guys to migrate to a bigger shop 🤣. Didn’t hurt Richard Rowlings 🤑
But his business is the cars. Ours is not.
We've thought about it, but in reality it would take away the enjoyment of working on our own cars.
Come back in 6 months and see if Richard R is still splashing the cash? I’m not sure it’s all roses anymore
Plus they’ll need to take Craig with them

Would you take part ex?
I'm afraid not.
Perfect road and track machine, except it's got the wrong gearbox 😀

@@driftworks the M2 has garbage steering feedback which makes having a manual car less enjoyable.
Love the tips, better than 4 poo shoots
Aka we need cash urgently
Why?
Want it can’t afford it 😢 so any donations more than welcome😅👍
Sounds like a lot of car for the money
It was. It sold immediately. 👍
ill give you a £3 meal deal and a set of used knickers from my nans drawers
An S65 engine that has seen extensive track usage? Buying that is the most stupid idea anyone could have😂
Nothing wrong with them for track use, the problem is being driven hard from cold with the bearing tolerances being so slim, when the cars warm on track they are never a cause for concern
Most S65 badmouthing is mostly internet BS. I've owned 4 and beaten the crap out of them with no problem.
Any engine you track needs regular attention, and the S65 wear and failure points are well known so easy enough to keep atop of.
