As always, you have a way of explaining a technique that really EXPLAINS it. I finally get it: start your stitch, make the base chain for it, then complete the stitch. And I absolutely love that your videos are so professionally done and edited. I don't have time to listen to "uhs" and "ignore my dog barking" and "oops, not in the frame." Thank you, Donna!

At first, I wasn’t sure, but with what you said just now with that. 2:15 That actually would be really helpful with what my needs are especially if I’m making a garment. And even though I’ve done the chain stitch before I always feel like I would lose track of everything, but this seems so much easier to work with than just doing the one at a time thing. I love, love, love your videos! Short and sweet and you show exactly what to do and make it look so easy! I am going to have to try these foundation chains. Are you able to do these in the round? Thank you! ❤️

If I'm doing them in the round, I just slip stitch to the first stitch. However, there will be a slight gap at the bottom that I just sew up with the tail end of the yarn.

I crochet myself but never done it that way before I learned a lot from watching your TH-cam and seeing you on Facebook thanks for your little tips and tricks.
