@@WendyInMD I have sprayed different Hobonichi fabric covers and I haven’t experienced any changes. With that said, I have only used the Scotchgard brand.
I love my Sterling Ink subscription. I sub to the full subscription; I tried the deluxe for one month and found that it had too many stickers for me to use up. The clear matte (washi) stickers just "melt" into the page, which is why i love them plus it lessens the bulk. I agree with the comment about ordering a few stickers ala carte to try.
Thanks so much for sharing! I actually didn't realize the difference between the two options. I think based on all these wonderful comments and suggestions, I will have to go with the clear matte! I also love the idea of trying a few hand selected sticker sheets. Thanks so much!!
Sterling Ink's sticker are beautiful. I recommend purchasing a la carte so you can get what you'll use. I find that when I did this, it allowed me to see that I needed something smaller than a monthly kit and I got to choose narrow down so that I don't have too much carry over that accumulates.
Hello my friend! Thanks so much for sharing. I love this idea. I actually ended my simply gilded subscription a while back to do just that and found it to be much more cost effective and manageable to focus on the items that spoke to me.
The sterling ink sub kits are beautiful and I did enjoy mine while I was subscribed. My only complaint, which is not even a complaint but more personal preference, is that I felt like every kit felt the same. There wasn’t enough variety in her kits (for me) to keep me interested and subscribed. I got the washi stickers and the quality was amazing. I never had issues with ripping or tearing. Btw, I loved hearing the rooster in the background and hearing about your lucky donkey. ❤😂
Hello! Thanks so much for sharing your appreciation for my farm stories and silly roosters. 🐓 I usually feel bad when my roosters go off. After you shared your experience with Sterling Ink, I realized that I would probably have a similar reaction.. This is part of the reason I stopped my Simply Gilded Sub. I think I might try a couple of months but ultimately end up cancelling and maybe I’ll do a smaller pack. Thanks so much for your insight! ❤️
I absolutely love your journaling style, using all types of stickers, it works. Your spreads come together beautifully. As far as the subscription to Sterling Ink, why don’t you order a couple of months and see how this fits into your spreads. If you’re satisfied then sign up. I’m non-committal, this wouldn’t work for me.
oh my goodness! Thanks so much for sharing. I was actually debating this exact thing. I'm intrigued by the idea of having a kit to take the guess work out of setting up my spreads but I'm deterred by the commitment and I was actually contemplating how the style would fit or not fit into my very random style.. If that makes sense.. I think you get it! Thanks so much for the encouragement. I think I will have to try it for a few months and see how it goes like you suggested! :D
Thanks so much for sharing! I thought it was just me and I felt bad feeling the way I did. Please let me know if you find a fix. Maybe I should try some other options and do a comparison video.. :/ I do like the convenience. I also wonder how the quality of the photo will stand against the test of time. I will have to report back! :D
Just FYI, I protect my fabric covers by spraying them with Scotchguard, it repels liquids and prevents stains✨
Love this! Thanks so much for sharing this idea. I think many of us will benefit from this suggestion.
Does it change the feel or texture of the fabric?
OMG thank you cause that cover on cover was not fitting

You can put a clear cover on cover and help it avoid stains
Oh my goodness thank you for the reminder! I actually have the cover on cover!! 😂
Lol no worries! I have an Eri Shimatsuka cover that got stained and from then on I always try to put covers on everything 😂😂

I have the ivy also and think the color is awful and dark. I need to try and lighten it also.
