"Hon" 本 is a word that means "book" in Japanese. It should be pronounced a little bit like "hone" (as in, "hone your skills"). Nice video :)

I have the same Weeks and just love the cover design. It is my first Weeks (first Hobonichi, too). That pen looks like the Sarasa Grand with Bordeaux Purple ink! I bought this weeks ago, right after I got my Weeks... LOVE this pen, too! Very cute spreads; thanks for sharing them!

The green hobonich stencil is also my top favorite essential planner tool of all time, like I count it as essential as my actual planner and pen. I have been using it religiously every day, for years and I also have a large collection of them, 😂, Because the grids will wear off over time or part of it might break or they'll bend or get dented. So I buy a new one, but for some reason I don't throw away the old ones they're just all over in my office like you could find one in every corner. And the part of it that I use literally every day is the 7 check boxes as well! I seriously can't even do planning without that stencil anymore! And, since im so attached to it, a necessity for any planner im going to use is that it has to have hobonichi line spacing so i can use my green stencil check boxes! 😂

Eggs are less frequent on cold/dark days. And typically you will see more as spring comes again! Sometimes people will add light to their coops to get chickens to lay more in the winter.

I didn't know you can put a cover over the Hobonichi A6 Hon's, I thought I had to do clear only.

I missed the month of August, too. Love your ideas; it's helpful. I use magazine pictures in my spreads sometimes, and it's fun incorporaring "real life" with animated. Your flip through was very inspiring.

My goal in 2025 is to start using my stickers, the “good ones.” I have a washi and stickers addiction, I hope to get that feeling of satisfaction of using an entire sticker sheet like you. I really love your journaling spreads, you’re so creative. I hope you and your hubby have a very Merry Christmas.

I actually have a "junk journal" of sorts for all packaging and business cards I receive when I order from sticker shops and other small businesses. It's fun to collage it all into one page dedicated for that shop. I might start putting some of the super cute business cards in my hobonichi cover though. I've seen people use the portrait type stickers for vertical weekly spreads! They kind of put them between different days and write around it. I like that look, but I have yet to do it in my own planner.

Definitely good to take care of yourself, that’s a lot to go through! Regarding washi, I’ve used sharpie fine point pen for check boxes on WIAM washi.

And I have been out of the loop and not watching too much planning videos since I started using Hobonichi for two years now. I’m so happy for you and this leap of faith you both took. Midori makes an a5 codex with 400 pages! I use the dot grid for my work planning. I also used a Stalogy a5. They come in 1/2 year and full year

I create vision boards like that and I still call them that. it's so cute! I used a standard size sterling ink planner this year for work and I found i needed more room. Next year I'm using the sterling ink b6 daily for work. I'm going to try using Saturday or Sunday to layout my week and then each workday will have a page. I think it should work. I thought about using a Weeks, but quickly realized it would never work.
