I have been meaning to do this to my bike for a long time but I keep putting it off. Good to know they stay relatively clean. I think you may have started a new art category, painting with grease!!
Hey man it's a swing arm not a swin arm 😂 also when ever the swing arm is out always do the top and bottom shock mounts it's silly not to, and a quick tip here, spend 10 mins in the manual to find torque settings for any fixing your working on then write them down, it makes the job so much easier when you don't have to stop to try and find torque settings
I love that my drz400 has grease nipples, never need to remove or replace them! Just grease them every few rides

The other side was a bit dry so I whoud definitely do yours.
Thx for the video! Why did you cut the chain though?
Those needle bearings can be a bit of a pain at times. Great video Steve 👍👍😎🤟
Thanks mate yeah I need to be more careful when working with them needle bearings lol.
Should service the top and bottom rear shock bearing while you got it apart. They are prone to seizing.
Thanks mate next video lol
Looks like a good place for a Zerk Fittings.

Did your bike have shims for the swingarm or did it bolt it with none
Thank you! I am from Brazil!
Thanks mate
this side has the disks one on each side like the left side
Some say there’s a space mine has no space there all touching all the way around where yours ?
Crazy question but once all needle bearings are in place should there be any space between them or does that mean some are missing thank you
If you have lots of space I'd say you have some missing.
Nice video man, very helpful!
Thanks mate appreciate the feedback
Do you take out the outer races? My buddy was trying to get them out and I don’t they come out
Only if you are replacing the bearing with a new one.
