The three previous decades were far superior, without them the 80's wouldn't have existed. The 80's did have fantastic music, but nothing as groundbreaking as Elvis, The Beatles, The VU or Led Zepelin.

The piano solo on the original recording is even better.... here is what Matt had to say about Jools at the time.. "I think he had one run-through, and said, 'Let's go for it,' and laid the whole thing down," Johnson added. "There was just one drop-in we did towards the end. We were amazed. He told me years later, he gets asked about that more than anything he's ever done."
I used to dance like crazy to this at the time, a true 60s classic I♥️in the 80s I saw Jools Holland play this live at Demontfort Hall Leicester , absolutely amazing

As serendipity goes...when my daughter was born, his brother Gerald moved in with me!
